Dapol Model Railway GWR Prairie Tank 6100 Class Plastic Kit - OO Scale 1/76

Although it says its a 6100 class the transfers that come with it are numbers for a 4100 class, good kit apart from 2 bent bits in the one I got. Wheels are a bit difficult to get moving.

Nice kit, like anything from Dapol.

Bought 3 Dapol kits recently - 2 out of the 3 (including this one) had several parts missing.Assembly instructions extremely poor, and the numbering differed to the actual parts in the kit.Very inferior product - a waste of money

Not as good quality mouldings as the old Airfix kit.....Disapointed.

Now this model is nearly 40 years old and compared to modern kits it lacks fine detail, but builds into a good representation of a gwr tank locomotive. The moulds look like they have worn out though as there was an awful lot of extra plastic surrounding the components requiring a lot of cleaning up work. It makes a great subject to practise painting and weathering though before spending big money on a locomotive kit.
