The media could not be loaded.  These are so easy to get up and running. This one worked straight out of the box, no issues. Have a look at the video to see how easy it was to install and initialize on a Win 10 Laptop.Now my daughter can back up and edit her iPhone pictures to her hearts content......

Adding this 240GB to my son's Iota Slim e32, has given it a new lease of life.Before this upgrade to the paltry e32GB 'drive', Windows 10 didn't even have enough free space to install updates, even with an additional 64GB SD on which all/most of the apps were installed.Installation of the drive was fairly painless. Configure it in win 10 to be an active drive, then I reinstalled the OS from a pre-made installation media drive (downloaded from the MS site).I choice this drive to be the primary partition... and voila! an hour later my son had a very usable laptop with the latest WIN version and plenty of space for office and other apps,It got him through the last years' home schooling, whereas before the upgrade, it was getting to the point of being unusable.

Like another reviewer, I wanted something like this to use in an Intel NUC for a home cinema system. There is already a bootable 2.5" HDD in there but it was very slow. I didn't need a lot of storage as the HDD provides more than enough, this is really just for the O/S to live on. I can't comment on long term reliability as I've only had it a short time (though it will only be used for a couple of hours a day, 3 or 4 times a week, so I'm expecting it to be fine) but in terms of performance it's excellent. Compared to how it was, the machine now boots in a flash. Great value, I'm very pleased with it.

I bought this product, and it came defective. It would not register at all on my drives. I even checked other pcs to make sure it isn't my pc that isn't registering it and turns out it wouldn't register at all. When I tried reaching out to them, all they wanted me to do was to ship the product to China and I would have to pay for shipping. I found out another way by shipping it via amazon, and since I have gotten my money back.In conclusion, do not buy this product due to it being cheap, defective, and flimsy. also do not expect to get help from the seller. You are on your own for this.

Several ssds did not work with iota laptop however this on was recognised right away. I used it to clone operating system as smaller 32gb HD was too small for windows 10 So far so good , only time will tell how robust it is

Came faulty and took weeks to arrive, failed on S.M.A.R.T tests and warned off imminent failure, wouldn't install as a boot device because of this and had to be returned, initially they wanted me to return it to china but after a chat told me to send it to Glasgow, refund came through today.

There are times when a cheap SSD is best. In my case, running Roon Optimised Core Kit (centre of a music system) in a little Intel NUC -- the software is easily recoverable if there is a crash, and there is no point in paying a ton more for a branded disk. So this worked fine.

The drive started to malfunction, getting offline on its own after 3 months of use. it was an extra internal SSD to the laptop so no major data loss, thankfully, but this cheap device is now stuck with me, as past return date. Please buy on your risk.
