Good product. Hope they don't stop making it.
This cream is the best for delicate skin, smells very nice, leaves the skin soft but not greasy, and the price is good.

Hydrating
This has a nice subtle coconut scent, nice and summery. This is super hydrating. It relieved my dry cracked cuticles immensely. This is not lightweight. It is thick, goes on thick, requires rubbing it in a lot, takes a few mins to fully absorb. It does leave the slightest “lotion feeling”, but nothing that bothers me personally. No pilling. Nice size. A little goes a long way.

Absolutely love this hand cream!
I have really dry skin, partly because I take a chemo med for autoimmune issues that really dehydrated me no matter how much water I drink. Other lotions I bought were either too greasy and just sat on the surface of my skin OR simply weren’t hydrating enough. But this hand cream is my absolute favorite now. It is super moisturizing, but is also fully absorbed by my skin very quickly. It’s honestly impressive. There was a nearly immediate, extremely noticeable difference in the condition of my skin after I started using this. This lotion even seemed to solve a related issue I was having where my dead skin cells just refused to be shed, no matter how much I scrubbed in the shower or how much of my normal body lotion I applied. Sorry if it’s TMI, but literally minutes after applying this for the first time on my arms, I was able to basically just wipe off that dead layer of my skin, revealing much softer and more supple skin underneath. This is an issue that has been plaguing me for over a year that was seemingly solved in one day.Additionally, I find that the scent is very pleasant. It weirdly reminds me of Froot Loops at first, but in the best way possible. It’s just got that nice citrus-forward, sweet fragrance, and as it dries down the scent gets mellower and more creamy as the lemon settles into the background. It’s definitely got a gourmand scent imo, but it’s not cloyingly sweet or artificial. It just genuinely smells like madeleines with lemon curd or something.I think the Shea butter is largely responsible for the creamy, vanilla-like scent that develops after a couple minutes. It’s very nice, I find myself smelling my hands for like an hour after I apply it because it’s just so delicious! It doesn’t have a strong throw at all once absorbed, the scent fades to only be detectable if someone is inches from your skin, so it hopefully shouldn’t annoy people around you unless they are severely intolerant to fragrance.

Great texture and highly moisturizing. Strong fragrance
The texture is great! It’s viscous/thick and spreads easily. My skin is definitely moisturized. For the fragrance, it gives a reminiscent scent, smelling like hair products from a few years back.

Cloying Scent and Little Moisture.
J.R. Watkins Shea Butter Hand Cream ingredients looked good. It contains lots of oils and is free of cytotoxic preservatives. I have the Lemon Cream scent, which smells like a lemon cream pie or pudding. It is cloying and offends my sensitive nose, even though I usually like citrus. The scent is sweet, heavy, and it lingers on the hands. There are plenty of emollients listed in the ingredients, but this cream is more waxy than emollient. I like shea butter, but it is the second ingredient here, after water, which is too much of a good thing. There isn't any evidence of all of those oils on the skin; the shea butter takes over. The texture of the cream is not greasy, but it is waxy and it's just not moisturizing. It's like putting shea butter, which is an occlusive, on your skin without doing anything to nourish the skin first. The lotion is dry and the smell is unpleasant. It doesn't do anything for my skin, sorry to say.Ingredients: Water/aqua/eau, Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), glyceryl stearate SE, stearic acid, fragrance/parfum, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Macadamia ternifolia seed oil, Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, cetearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, Orbignya oleifera seed oil, Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, sodium behenoyl lactylate, beeswax/cera alba/cire d'abeille, allantoin, panthenol, Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, Aloe barbadensis leaf extract, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Camellia oleifera (green tea) leaf extract, glycerin, Calendula officinalis flower extract, Chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, Tilia cordata flower extract, Centaurea cyanus flower extract, Anthemis nobilis flower extract, Hypericum perforatum extract, tocopheryl acetate, benzyl alcohol, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, citric acid, sodium hydroxide.
