Easy to use
This thing is amazing I have a quilt 15 plus years old I needed to take apart and I was done in a couple hours instead of a week. It's great quality!!!

Great product
There is a small learning curve when using the ripper. Use a regular seam ripper to take out a few stitches to start the seam then the electric ripper works great.

Doesn’t work!
Huge waste of money. Blade comes nowhere close to the edge to cut anything. You could maybe trim long hair but would never be able to seam rip. Doesn’t get close enough to cut a thread!

Does it work
I tried to use it but it never did cut the threads. Dissatisfied.

Change from original
I couldn't live without this seam ripper but new one has plastic addition beyond the clippers. Original so much better as clippers right next to fabric. Need it so will have to get used to it but it's one of those don't fix it if it's not broken.

Works great
The product worked much better than I had expected. I truly expected to send it back; I didn’t have to!! It worked.Had an embroidery approximately 5000 stitches on the back of a baseball hat. Man’s name surrounded with a satin stitch rectangle box 4”X1.25”. Hatvwas a FlexFit not a snap back.Took me approximately 30 minutes to figure out how to hold it in relation to the stitches and then completely remove the embroidery from the hat. No nicks or cuts to the fabric.I’d give the price 5 stars; the operation of the ripper, 5 stars.I’d buy again. Much better than $70 or $80 for the other ones I saw.

Not worth it.
I was looking for a seam ripper to skin a quilt. Does not work as described. Teeth are too close together to cut longarm quilting thread.
