I purchased this kit because I needed a cross over, a double crossover switch, and I wasn't sure what to buy. On my layout I use atlas track and I wasn't sure I could integrate this product with the atlas track. However with very little effort I was able to make it work and it does an amazing job. It operates very smoothly and thus far I've had no problems with it at all. I would say that before anyone buys the product they should seriously consider what they are doing if they are not using the Kati track. I am very happy with the purchase and in my circumstances I would certainly do it again.

It comes right out of the box with everything you need. Just insert it into your tracks, & plug it into the control switch which is included. Trains cross over it without derailing. Kato is quality!

Generally I just buy the individual track pieces but this set was available at a good price. The crossover is a very interesting track piece that adds an interesting operational options. The switches are number four and not number six.
