Lock worked great for the first 24hrs and then the lock holder that goes on the bike broke. This is made of cheap plastic and didn’t hold up at all.**UPDATE** I am giving this product an additional 2 stars for customer service. In this day and age it goes a long way to have a company that actually cares about its customers and wants to ensure they are happy with their product. A day after my previous review I received a full refund. I would still encourage the company to use a lock holder that is made of stronger material.

Had this on my bike for a few months. Lock mechanism works fine but two issues.1. After a few months of paved bike trail riding the plastic 'button' that clicks into the mount broke leaving the lock like any other cable lock where you have to wrap it around a tube.2. The wire inside is very thin, it's covered by a thick layer of soft, flexible vinyl. Wouldn't last 20 seconds against any cutting tool bigger than a knife. If you live in the suburbs and ride to *$ it's fine. If you expect this lock to offer any significant level of protection it's not going to meet your expectations.On the plus side1. It's light weight. It will prevent someone from just casually walking off with your bike.2. It's cheap. Lived up to my expectations for a sub $10 bike lock.3. The self coiling is nice.

I really love this lock... it's affordable, very well put together, weather resistant, large clear to see combo, and very easy to set/change your personal lock combo. It's also useful for a lot more than just bikes. I used this in conjunction with BV 30FT Security Steel Cable with Loops, Flex Cable, Lock Cable 3/8 Inch, for U-Lock and Padlock to secure an expensive hose wheel cart to the side of my house (it was for all intents and purposes in the front yard with nothing to keep it from being wheeled away by unscrupulous people). I looped one end of the 30 foot steel cable around a pole on the side of my house and used this lock to secure the other end to my hose cart... it's not going anywhere now, and I have peace of mind. I really love the quality of this lock and (not that I ever will again) the ease and ability to change the combo to whatever you want.

When our outdoor grill got stolen we realized that a new grill will have to be anchored to the patio wall. Neteez bike lock worked wonderfully for that application. It secured the new barbecue grill to the brick trellis wall firmly and it was easy to lock. We intend to move the grill around on our patio, so we have not changed the combination as it is easy to remember for now. The cable is sturdy, and the mechanism is sleek and user-friendly. I will definitely recommend this lock to bicycle owners. We intend to use some more of these locks to secure our garden equipment. I am considering using a couple of these to secure the patio furniture as well.

When I first got it this lock seemed serviceable, though a bit chintzy feeling. What I discovered now that it's getting colder is that the plastic tumbler/dials get very sticky when its around or below zero. The plastic housing on the cable also gets very stiff and hard to stretch. I'd recommend this as a warm climate only lock.

I’m using this cable lock to secure the battery on my travel trailer, and it’s perfect! I have confidence that I can leave my trailer at a site, and my battery will be there when I get back. It’s great that I can choose my own combination. This cable lock was a great investment.

Normally I don't write reviews I just return the item, but this time I waited too long and I am out of the return window, hence a negative review. I bought two of these ... one came without the bike mount and both broke within 30 minutes of use. I was looking for a lock for kids bikes to use in a relatively bike safe area, mostly for show .... but these were so cheap they don't even work for that. First one: the locking mechanism was frozen when received and it was missing the bike mount. Second one: the tab to hold it onto the bike mount broke on the first bike ride. These are garbage. Don't waste you time or money.

These are complete junk. All plastic, bought three and broke each one with my hands when it was locked in locked state. You get what you pay for. Save your money... Wish I did.
