Was a present they seemed to like it didn’t see it working though and the box was quite small seemed expensive for the size

not a goo drone, battery on last about 15 mins, can only fly in very light breeze and not far before loosing signal. Can not get the app to work. only good for flying indoors. Save your money and buy a proper slightly more expensive first drone!

Didn't expect a lot from such a cheap drone but was pleasantly surprised.I will preface this review by saying I'm not a drone enthusiast, don't own and haven't used the more expensive drones out there.When ordering I simply wanted an easy to operate drone that didn't need a lot of practice or experience. I wasn't expecting all the bells and whistles more expensive drones have, and I wasn't even convinced I'd use the controller provided.Downloading the app was straightforward, setup was a breeze and thankfully didn't need to create an account to begin using the drone, there's a skip option at the login prompt. I'm not using the latest version of Android so can't speak with regard to compatibility on newer devices.What little assembly is required when unboxing is easy to do, swapping and charging batteries is no trouble at all. Good to see that spares have been provided for the inevitable crashes that will occur.I only fly this drone on calm days with very little wind and good visibility, and in that environment it performs well. The higher I went the more I would have to provide input against the wind but that's to be expected.Movements are quick and rough, no stabilisation here and that's obvious in the video feed.Flight time is only measured in minutes but you do get a spare battery! I don't think it's realistic to expect much more from such a budget drone.The controller can hold your phone above the controls and that's what I ended up doing, using the phone and app as the video feed and holding the controller to provide input to the drone.Video and images are of decent quality but not particularly high resolution and the lack of stabilisation makes the video quite unstable unless taken stationary.All in all it does what it says on the tin, provides good value for money (at the price as of writing this review) and should be a fun experience if used on calm days for both kids and adults as an introduction to drones.I managed to fly relatively high and take a video of scenery in the distance, rotating 360 degrees to see in all directions and was quite impressed by that without having to spend a lot of money.£34.99 as of writing.5/5

I normally fly more.professional drones, but love to play with toy drones in the garden and local park. They're fun to race around and great for practicing on.This is one of the better toy drones. The size is fairly reasonable and, despite having brushed motors, it flies really well. It hovers consistently and doesn't drop until you want it to. I found the vertical control works perfectly.In flight, the controls are really responsive. It uses mode 2, like other drones, so up down and rotate in the left stick. Forward, left and right lateral movement in the right stick.I've not tested the camera yet, but likely won't use it to be fair. It's nice that it's there though, should I want to use it.I've had some real fun flying this round the garden. It'll also take a slight knock without any issues, having hit the patio heater by accident.The lights are amazing in this. Green for the front and red for the rear. You can easily see which way you're flying. It also looks amazing at night.Overall, a fantastic toy drone with 2 batteries, offering 22 mins plus of battery life. Good value for money for what it does.

However, this does lead to the advantage that it is easy to pack away and store. The USB chargeable batteries are a plus. Spare rotor blades are provided which will naturally be the first thing to break. It’s usually quite hard to crash a drone though so any sensible user should not need them.Runtime from the batteries is relevant. If you speed around everywhere they won’t last long at all, maybe 5 – 10 minutes when pushed hard. If you gently waft in the breeze with slow manoeuvres, then expect a more decent runtime.This is aimed at the lower end of the market and is more a token purchase as a gift or perhaps to dip your toes into the world of drones. I am using mine to take aerial photos of our property during renovation (when there is less than a light breeze). For basic use it is fine but for anything more, you will need to spend a lot more.The biggest problem with a drone like this is the fact you don’t have a screen on the controller, so you need to be fairly comfortable / still to watch your phone while using two hands on the controller. Having a separate app to make use of the functions means it’s only a matter of time before the product becomes obsolete and the app doesn’t work on newer phones.

See screenshot attached. The app is outdated and doesn't appear to be getting updated. This means you can't use many of the features advertised in the drones description. Terrible drone.
