RCOM Suro incubator
I have used this incubator for four hatches, the last of which was not a very good hatch. This was probably my fault and not the incubator. What does surprise me is just how little water it uses in comparison with my other incubator.

Awful!!!!
I bought this incubator in order to hatch some duck eggs. It was awful. It couldn't keep the humidity levels, the pump was not drawing enough water to maintain humidity and all of the eggs spoiled. The seller was not helpful and I couldn't get a refund for it. Most of the people that I talked to who had this incubator told me that they had problems with hatching. A complete waste of money. I had bought years ago a small brinsea incubator and never had problems with that.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND SUPPLIER. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 100% Hatch with first attempt.
First class 100% hatch rate with first attempt. This incubator has good control of temperature and humidity, the instruction manual is clear and covers all you need in detail. Have used a number of other incubators and found control of humidity far from easy and instructions which leave much to be desired. The automatic turning provided a really good rotation of the eggs position in a gentle and controlled manner. This incubator was head and shoulders above the rest. The supplier was extremely helpful and very promptly dealt with the sale, excellent service and would have no hesitation in recommending or using again. The attached photo is from my first hatch and shows chicks 2 days old after transfer to a brooder.

Does everything we expected
We bought a RCOM mini incubator a few years ago and have had a lot of success with it so decided to buy a larger model. Due to our experience with the mini we decided to buy RCOM this time. The incubator was very easy to set up and our first clutch of chicks have hatched this weekend. We keep quail, both coturnix and chinese painted, and had both types of egg in the incubator. Both types have hatched even though the incubation time is a little different.A couple of people have recommended RCOM to us in the past and we would have no hesitation in recommending the brand and this particular incubator to others.

I have to write and say how pleased I am with this incubator
I have to write and say how pleased I am with this incubator. I had a Brinsea before and found it very difficult to maintain humidity because you had to lift the lid to add water, so often the eggs would be fine up until the end and then I believe that because I could not maintain the humidity they failed to hatch. The first time I used this I had 19 hatch and I have just had 18 hatch, this is amazing and well above the national average and I am sure it is because you can increase the humidity so easily via the pump

Avoid - no way of controlling the humidity
I am a practised poulty breeder with many years experience. The overall build of the incubater is good. That said, this is of no use if conditions aren't right for the chicks to develop. The main problem with this model is the water pump which doesn't work at all so the only option is to add water to sponges inside the casing manually (and of course nobody has the time to sit and watch it for 28 days!) This istuation isn't helped by the manual which devotes all of 4 lines of text in poorly written English to the pump set up. There are much better options available on the market.

excellent
just never ever ever assist a chick to hatch otherwise your incubator will smell of egg. Thankyou for putting such a great product on the amazon market.
