Bought this to replace my current quad core Intel Q4400. Installed processor and heat sink easily and I can see a marked improvement in performance. Price to performance was the main reason I bought this i5 rather than an i7. Highly recommended.

I didn't like the price for a 3rd gen card but boy ...
I didn't like the price for a 3rd gen card but boy was it worth it. I've overclocked to 4.2 with no probs and I'm now fully utilising my 16gb of ram.Its given my ASrock pro 3 board a good few years more life use at a reasonable cost. It feel like i've got a new machine, especially when multi tasking while editing photos on lightroom

Best upgrade.
A massive upgrade from my i3 in gaming terms.My loading screens were hanging around for a long time, and when playing online games it gave me an unfair advantage.With the i5 they are so much quicker. probably loads a game in about 20 seconds.This working along side my Samsung SSD, my computer really does fly now.

Brilliant
This is just amazing. Used it in my PC build recently and going from an AMD Athlon x4 605e to this was just great. This with an SSD, Raptor hard drive and 16 gig of ram really makes for a swift machine.
