Perfect Crimping
Very impressed with the ease and accuracy of these crimping pliers. I have other pliers which are also designed for uninsulated crimps and which have a flat head on one side of the jaws which, if you're not very careful, can rotate the crimp so it doesn't compress properly. But these pliers have a cupped face on rhe second side which is perfect for closing down the crimp. Particularly useful on the small 2.54 pitch molex kk type crimps. Great results.

IWISS strike again with a great tool at a good price
I needed a reliable crimper for small non-insulated connections and this IWISS tool is great and delivered by Amazon the next day through the letterbox.Previously I'd bought a cheaper generic SN-28B tool but even when using the correct connections the crimps I was making were failing and not formed correctly so I was wasting a lot of connectors. Buy cheap buy twice I guess.I've had IWISS tools in the past and initially missed this one when buying the SN-28B but gave it a go as the previous tool wasn't very good.Immediately the same set of non-insulated connectors I've been using are formed better on both the bit holding the cable insulation and the smaller part crimping the wire and most importantly aren't failing in the pull test or giving me random continuity problems. There's a bit too much wire in the cable in the pictures and I've also shown the size next to a pen - these are little so just a mm too long makes quite a difference! You also get some good instructions with these whereas a lot of crimpers you'll be left to your own devices to work it out (although they all have their own pitfalls, it just takes time to get used to each set). For me definitely worth paying that little extra over the generic crimpers if you value your time - these aren't as expensive as proper Molex crimps but still seem to do a more than good enough job. Thanks IWISS!

Good quality jaws but a tadge fiddly.
Decent quality with precise maching to the jaws. Work well with JST-XH crimps. The only downside is that when crimping directly from a strip the body of the tool gets in the way a little. You can get around this by bending the crimps 90degrees on the strip but that soon get old if you have hundreds to do.

Good crimp tool at this price point
I think it is safe to ignore any review claiming this crimp tool does not work as intended. Some even mentioned not working with insulated terminals - obviously as it is for non-insulated. At this price point you may not find a better non-insulated terminal crimper. Lubricate the die lightly and it works very smoothly. Even before I cleaned with a little oil - it was crimping flawlessly and is very easy to use.

Decent JST crimpers which are well made
ProsDecent crimping actionEasy to operateDecent gripsConsA little priceyLimited crimping optionsI needed some JST 2.0 Crimpers, and there came onto my radar. I picked them up, and after a bit of messing around I got them crimping my connectionsOverall they did a decent job and held the connector well. The finish was excellent, and the wires were all secure. These are a little pricey as they don't offer many options for different crimping bits. They do not have interchangeable teeth which is a shame, but what teeth they do have are decent.

Great value, but solid and built to last
Was planning to purchase the Paladin die for JST-XH for my paladin crimper, but it was on back order and this was cheaper than just the Paladin die....and i really needed to get on with finishing some crimps. Was really surprised with the quality. Solid feeling, smooth operation and ratcheting that helps to hold the pin firm whilst you insert the wire and then crimps perfectly without crushing. Not much more to say really...does the job, makes the job easy and is built to last.Definitely recommend!

Just OK for couple of crimps ...
I bought this as an alternative to MDPC-X tool for crimping my ATX PSU cables. Obviously this is 33% of the price of CTX 3. Nevertheless, this isn't really suited for crimping terminal pins for ATX PSU. The teeth of the insulation wings are not curved enough and as a consequence you end up with flatter pin, which hardly fits in the connector. In order to make it fit, I need to use the middle teeth but because if the thicker wire I end up with one insulation wing broken. It will work for now but for my next job I will need to get different set of crimps.Maybe I will even return these ...

Quality tool at low cost
Purchased these to fit a couple of crimps and the results are very good considering the low cost.
