Work well.
Decent quality. Works as well if not better than a Boom Buddy for half the price.

Does what it’s meant to do
It screws finely onto a C stand and holds a boom pole on that stand. I don’t know what else to say. Had no problems with it using it with a Neewer C stand.

strong and stable, but why not use a superclamp instead?
I also purchased a grip head to attach holder to a lighting stand. All good, does a good job of holding my boom pole above talent's head. However, in the interests of reducing the amount of kit I take on location I have stopped carrying these with me - I find that a superclamp does the job just fine, it weighs and costs less than these 2 items and performs a 1001 other tasks too. Sure you can't change the angle of the dangle, but that hasn't caused me any problems, less is better!

Does the job
Nice and simple, does the job. Just make sure you use it with a solid stand if using it with a fully extended boom.

Snapped after 2 uses
I bought this for exactly it's intended purpose - to hold a boom mic pole on a stand. On only the second day of using it, the holder snapped at the join between the holder and the vertical rod causing my boom mic pole and mic to hit the ground (fortunately not my client.) I use a Rode Blimp with carbon fibre rod so not exactly the heaviest setup around. Absolutely not fit for purpose and unsafe for its stated use.

Es scheint ein paar verschiedene Versionen dieses Produkts zu geben, die auf den Fotos zu sehen sind, die die Rezensenten hier gepostet haben, darunter einige, die von minderer Qualität zu sein scheinen. Die Version, die ich erhalten habe, hat die glänzende Vernickelung und die Vinylbeschichtung mit dem Schriftzug ‚Neewer‘. Dies ist ein extrem starkes Teil, und mit der Nickelbeschichtung besteht keine Möglichkeit von Rost. Es ist auch ein großartiges Design, weil es einen Boom Pole fest in Position hält, und es auch ermöglicht, diesen sehr einfach zu entfernen. Sie brauchen nur einen guten C-Ständer, eine Klemme und einige Sandsäcke dazu.
