Field Compost Ltd Ornamental Bark Mulch (Huge 1000L bulk bag!!)

Can’t give enough stars! By far one of the best customer service experiences from my many garden purchases. The quality of the mulch is A+, the delivery arrived so quickly after getting the notice that it had been dispatched that I was shocked to see the driver when he arrived. The driver was exceptional! A 5star gentleman and so super helpful above and beyond to make sure that this massive, heavy bag was safely lifted over my fence without issue and did all of this in the pouring rain with a smile and such sincere care and amazing service. Can’t recommend this company enough! They will absolutely be my go to for my mulch from here on out! Thank you so much!

Was better than expected, dry and of a consistent grade and size, with no rubbish. Just what I wanted to make pathways around my raised beds. Good value too

The ornamental bark arrived within a couple of days despite us living in Scotland. It is carefully wrapped and dry enough to be easy to work with. Top quality stuff, well composted and the bark is a good size. I’m delighted and as a keen gardener would recommend it to anyone.

I have just had a chance to open the lot after a few week of the delivery and spread some of it on one of the borders. I must say that it contains what it says in the description. The size of the particles is about right, I have found a couple of plastic rubbish in it, but taken the volume and if this was average, I think it is a superb product. It was not excessively wet and the scent is beautiful. I felt like in a forest. If I will need more I will buy this one again. The price is also great. The reason I took one star off is that I missed the communication about the time of delivery. I was given a date but no other details, about an estimated hour or something, like other delivery companies are doing it so the customer is aware at what time they can expect the parcel. I took a day off and was stuck at home, not able to go anywhere, taking shower in stress I will miss the delivery. The parcel arrived at about 5 or 6 pm. Day lost. The delivery man, when I queried, told me that he had it scheduled to pick up in the morning from the depot but it was not ready so he did other deliveries and went back for mine to deliver. I would appreciate more time specific details that are real (if given the morning time I would be cross after receiving it in the evening), especially when they don't deliver at weekends. A great product otherwise and well packaged and protected from elements. Thanks.

Product as stated. Product info. said road should be at least 8'6" wide. Delivery driver did deliver - but complained about access width (I have measured and it's exactly 9'9" wide - so does comply with that). Note to others - be aware that road width was inaccurate and has now been removed from product info. (since my delivery!) and you need to check with firm that they WILL deliver to your garden as expected. Have checked UK lorry widths and the maximum width in this country is 2.55 metres (ie 8'4") and hence the 8'6" width that was specified on the product info. at the time I ordered this (thus 1'5" clearance in my road = enough room for the lorry).

Not Ornamental not high quality. Full of fibres and bits. They should drop the words ORNAMENTAL. Seen better wish I'd bought that instead.

Nice product easy to handle not made up of large bits ..great coverage .. I did find cheaper but it was huge clumpy and difficult to handle and it gave poor coverage
