My class is obsessed
The media could not be loaded. These lights are perfect for my classroom! They were really easy to put up and stick great even on the textured brick, as long as it was clean. They look great and the app was super easy to install and connect and has even more color options. I thought I was going to have to spend around $100 to cover my whole room but $40 and it looks awesome!I did have a couple issues, 1. a 12 in. section stopped working but after running my finger across it, it worked no problem. 2. I got 2 sets and one of the receivers wasn’t registering the green color but I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one no problem at all.

Tape the corners
I tested the cutting for you- your welcome lol you can cut it to whatever length you want, letting you know there a red button for only red lights anyways- don't worry about the remote because it doesn't need batteries it will work automatically once you pull the plastic thing out of it also put duct tape to the corner of your walls because the sticky part of the lights don't really last that long please download the f- app in case or else you're gonna end up like me looking for the remote or the box for the app. also heads up you might have extra left over light/roll if it's just for your bed room roof but test one roll incase. P.S I kinda hate whenever you press one of the few buttons on the remote because whenever someone talks the lights flickers fast to different colors. Other then that 5 stars in my opinion

Which random RGB will you be forced to settle for?
Could be 150 feet or 150 miles, in my opinion an LED strip is garbage if it can’t perform even the most absolute basic function these are purchased for. If you landed on this product because it’s the best value per foot, then I can only admonish you read some reviews before hitting that button because I didn’t and now wish I had put that $10 toward a more expensive set that works. As has been stated in a huge number of reviews I now see, after a few minutes of being on, about fifty feet down the roll the color just changes sporadically. Everyone has a different preset stuck color, and mine is green. Most of the roll i’ve been working with is now only RGB solid green, and will only even remain on if there is green in whichever color I choose. These things all advertise a kajillion color options from gradients across seven combinations, and that went out the window quick now that i have some turquoise and mostly Halloween Green. This occurs at a random spot on the strip after one of the cut seams, but there is nothing disrupting that seam. It has not been cut, folded, bent, or otherwise. I haven’t even finished rolling out what i was covering, I merely paused for a moment to turn it on and check the progress (you should not run LED rolls for very long while still wound on the spool due to heat dissipation issues) and discovered I will now probably have to tear it all off and hope the other roll doesn’t do the same thing. It was super easy to install over this patio chair frame like I wanted because the adhesive is so sticky… unfortunately it appears pulling it off is going to leave a ripped paper and glue mess.I already have a huge set of connectors and splicers and other ways to repair or alter led strips, but unfortunately I can’t even connect non-defective portions of these using those items because this is the smaller and far less common size of strip (8mm as opposed to 10mm). Even the power adapter is specific and different than the other half dozen lights I have and cannot be connected to a USB adapter unless I buy a whole new set of repair pieces just for this and go full journeyman on the whole thing, meaning while my power strips have 3-4 usb ports and my blocks also host 2-3 usbs, these busted lights think so highly of themselves they believe they deserve their own dedicated power outlet to run five volts of dictated color. The app interface seems alright I guess - I’m discovering the convenience lately of timing the auto-on and auto-off so managing my many lights isn’t a daily venture. However, I’m getting sick of every string having its own different app. I wish I could put them all in one place, and I would hope I could use an app of my choice. Because while this app is okay, it’s far from the best. The app barely does more than the remote can. The app I use with my Electite lights is way more comprehensive, can DIY each and every individual bulb, is easy on the eyes, and best of all does not collect personal data. Like why do you even want to know what I’m doing with my lights? How is this possibly helpful to you at all? And the app for my curtain lights has the bonus feature in the timer/schedule to change exactly what function is playing when it turns on from day to day.Anyway, pictures are being attached showing the dud line. I don’t think it’s even worth getting the repair pieces now that I’ve already spent a considerable amount of my time writing this warning against the things. Fingers crossed the other spool is functional, because otherwise it’s just all going in the trash and i’ll do the job with a brand that works.

They are cool, but have problems.
I ordered 6 of the battery-operated strings for use in group Halloween costumes. The costumes looked amazing! The LEDs are bright (green seems to be the brightest), there are many color choices, there's many lighting functions available (music mode and color-changing were cool), and 20 feet per string was more than enough for each costume. It was also nice that each string only used 3 AA batteries versus the 4 AAs required for other battery-operated strings. The description is misleading with regards to cutting. It says you can cut after every three LEDs—not so! The cut lines are available after every *five* LEDs, except when there is an unexpected soldered connection present instead. This frequently made it impossible to cut where I needed; instead, I'd have to double a string back on itself, then secure it with a zip tie. It was quite annoying. Also, the last section of 5 LEDs on the 15 LED strip on my husband's right leg just decided after awhile that blue wouldn't work. I don't know why, as we didn't have to cut there. We turned his costume to yellow, but it was annoying that we were were suddenly limited on color choice. It also states in the description that there's USB charging available, but I don't see how. The wire that connects the LED string to its battery pack is USB, but it doesn't come with a charging brick. There were no instructions included with each kit, so I guess you just have to guess on what kind of a brick to use/how long to leave them charging? The remotes are garbage. Of the 6 I received, only one worked consistently. The other 5 worked intermittently, or not at all. I used a remote from a different LED string most of the time, just to make sure that I could change colors, and turn power on and off when needed.Overall, these are decent lights with bad remotes. They made our Halloween costumes great, after we overcame some trials. They're probably better up on a wall than worn as a costume.
