A fun and quirky musical toy for kids and adults alike!
I bought this Otamatone Unicorn as a gift for my niece who loves music and unicorns. She was delighted when she opened the package and saw the cute and colorful design of the instrument. She immediately started playing with it and making different sounds and melodies. The Otamatone Unicorn is a Japanese electronic musical instrument that resembles a musical note with a unicorn horn and face. It has a mouth that you can open and close to change the pitch and a tail that you can slide up and down to change the tone. It also has a switch to change the volume and a button to change the octave. It requires two AAA batteries (not included) to operate. The Otamatone Unicorn is easy to use and fun to play with. It can produce a variety of sounds, from cute and funny to weird and creepy. It is a great toy for kids who want to explore music and sound, as well as for adults who want to have some fun and laughter. It is also a good conversation starter and a unique gift idea. The only downside of the Otamatone Unicorn is that it can be a bit loud and annoying if played for too long or in a small space. It is not a very sophisticated or professional instrument, so do not expect high-quality sound or performance. It is more of a novelty item than a serious musical instrument.Overall, I think the Otamatone Unicorn is a fun and quirky musical toy that can bring joy and entertainment to anyone who plays with it. It is a perfect gift for anyone who loves music and unicorns, or who just wants to try something new and different. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and creative way to make some noise!

Why? But good
Wild instrument, silly fun. Sounds like you'd expect. I can get a tune going now! They aren't cheap, but this is the one to buy, not necessarily this colour way! Build quality is good.

Doesn't work. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!
Bought this for my daughter's Christmas. She saw an add for them and she wanted the unicorn one as she is obsessed with unicorns! The unicorn one just happened to be the most expensive. The price kept changing in the lead up to Christmas but when we finally had the money to buy it , it cost £38+ but we had to get it ,we didn't want her to be disappointed on Christmas morning. She opened it , she was over the moon! But it didn't work. We changed the batteries but still nothing! It made a little noise , but since nothing. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Very fast delivery, from UK stockist.
My second Otamatone, having bought the Deluxe previously. The Standard is a lot smaller, feels slightly less responsive, and doesn't have an output jack. Playing both, in harmony, is great though

Its ok
Great little present but find it's quite difficult for my 8 year old to get it to work, even i struggle. You have to press the stem quite hard to get a noise and when you run your finger up and down to get the notes to flow it sounds tacky and not smooth at all. Little disappointed given the price of the item. No way to contact seller to see if its an issue with the product

Great but annoying
This isn't the best otomatone. The fingerboard is very narrow which makes it hard to use and the sound is more annoying than anything else. Great for kids but not worth buying if you're a serious musician. It is cute though.
