Very nice chromed metric / 6 point / 8mm to 19mm socket set. Socket's lobular design grabs the hex head of nuts and bolts on the flats as well as the outside hex points. 3/8 drive ratchet has a rounded handle and head with no sharp edges- easy on the hands. Directional lever to change rotation much better than the style with turning the dial on the ratchet head which I've found is quite bothersome when holding the head of the ratchet while turning the ratchet as the ratchet head dial would at times switch to the opposite direction. Also, when hands are oily or greasy, it's easier to use a lever action than trying to turn a dial. Set includes a 3 inch and 6 inch 3/8 drive extensions and universal joint. Nice case to hold all the sockets/ratchet/extensions/universal joints in one place to carry it to the job and within easy reach and to keep things in order and not losing sockets. Very nice price for a very nice tool set.

This tool set is my go-to set. Its not made in the USA but the quality is great nonetheless. The case is super convenient in my line of work, I'm a field mechanic, I just grab this and a couple pliers and wrenches and I'm set. Pros: a.) Super convenient case design b.) Great quality tools c.) Swivel attachment is super useful for tight spaces d.) good extensions e.) ratchet handle is nice and ergonomic...in a simple way f.) good price for the great quality Cons: a.) its not expensive so you cant brag to your friends about your expensive tools b.) Its blue, so if you're allergic to blue, this kit is not for you c.) This is not keyboard, so those of you trying to plug it into your pc will have a hard time(and possible loss of life)

The sockets are easily the JH Williams quality that makes them worth the price. The ratchet, however, is not a good one. The mechanism feels sloppy, with well more than the advertised 15 degrees of swing before the first ratchet click - it feels closer to 20 or 25 degrees. With this much swing before first click, you can’t work in tight spaces with it, which is a shame because, while the handle is relatively thin and fits in tight spaces well, the handle also feels really nice and ergonomically shaped - I actually love the shape. It has no excuse not to work in tight spaces with that thin handle, but the poor ratcheting mechanism really lets the tool down. The included ratchet with this socket set is a cheaply made, Taiwanese tool. It is not the Williams quality that the band was built on. That being said, the sockets are absolutely worth buying for this price, and Williams does still make round headed ratchets in the USA that are absolutely phenomenal tools that work extremely well in tight spaces. Get these sockets and that round head ratchet and you’re in business.

Pros: Better than expected, the looks and on-hand feel is great. They have excellent finish and look durable. I use them occasionally for basic maintenance work on a motorcycle and other stuff around the house. Cons: The ratchet seems to be a bit small, but adequate and comfortable in your hand, I just need to remember that this is a 3/8 set and not a larger one. This is not made in USA, but in Taiwan, but JH Williams is owned by Snap-on, and certainly looks like these tools are made with high standards of quality. These are a great buy if you don't want or need to pay big bucks for pro tools.

These used to be made in the USA and came in a metal case, now they come in a plastic case and are made in Taiwan.

I like the quality, and the fact that this company bought Snap-on. Snap-on was a brand my father depended on when he was still with us. He was a professional auto mechanic. I have found that Snap-on is hard to get unless you're in the trade, and they were super expensive. I feel that this is the next best thing. I will only use it for light duty jobs, so I have complete faith that these will hold up for years to come.

I purchased this set of tools a little over 2 yrs ago so far they've been great! I use them just about everyday at work I've even put a few sockets on my 1/4 dewalt impact driver to quickly remove and install bolts never had a issue, i carry tools to different locations for work so i try to keep my tool bag small, light and convenient i like how the case is small and easy to get the sizes you need the only thing is a wish they made a better case so far there hasnt been a issue but i know the snaps will eventually break there starting to get weak from openening and closing so much,i do prefer 6 point sockets over 12 but still happy with my purchase

These are great little socket sets for leaving in the truck or tractor. The blown molded case is durable and compact, socket quality is great with nice broaching and an even chrome finish.
