Smart TV Remote Control Replacement for Samsung TV

I have a Samsung 4K smart tv that I bought in 2019 and my voice remote control recently stopped working so I ordered this BN59-01330A replacement and it is a perfect match. I was able to easily pair the new remote with the tv and every feature works. That was my main concern when ordering, I use my voice control all the time and really did not want to lose that option. This remote is everything that I need. It works seamlessly with my tv. There is no lag when I press the buttons or use the voice option. I can recommend this replacement remote control.

I bought this remote because it was the exact one it came with. I was right! At first it was not working properly because it would skip letters or options. After some research I learned you have to pair the remote to your tv so it can work properly. That is not explained. To PAIR it, the TV must be on, once it’s one press the return button at the same time press the play/pause button, for at least 5 seconds or until the device is found and paring begins. First you’ll see it will search for a device and then pair. You know when it’s completed it’s pairing when you see the battery signal pop up on your screen. Hope this helps others who are having the same issue.

Working fine when I bought it; no issues. It setup easily and was compatible with my Samsung 6-series TV. Four months later One day it started behaving strangely - it would repeat the last button pressed infinitely. Not only would my TV confirm this, but the light at the tip of the remote too: it would light up synchronously. I let it rest for a day. The next day it seemed to have died, so I tried charging via the solar panel for a whole day under a light inside my house - no charge. So I tried charging via cable - no charge. Now, it just stopped working all together. For a $40 remote, not worth it - I’m very disappointed.

This remote paired with my Samsung Frame TV in seconds and works perfectly. The buttons are responsive, the design feels identical to the original, and the solar charging feature is a great bonus. I love not having to worry about replacing batteries. The Bluetooth connection is strong and there’s no lag when switching channels or adjusting volume. It’s a high quality replacement that works just as well as the original remote.
