Good tape for repairing bindings and corners.

The tape feels thinner than other brands I have used, more like masking tape, so I was skeptical. However, the tape worked great! Sticky enough to get the job done, but still easy to remove. Great value for the money.

It has a nice, cloth-like feel to the outside, like gaffers tape. What's different from real gaffers tape is that it's thinner, and it is stickier like duct tape.I used this 4" tape to hold down grass carpet for 24 hours for a scene. It worked great on vinyl tile and on ordinary carpet. No residue left behind. The adhesive was so strong, it lifted up one of the old vinyl tiles on the stage floor but those tiles were looking pretty ancient.I wouldn't use this for cables. I don't trust this adhesive to behave like real gaffers tape.It was exactly what I needed, and it didn't damage the grass carpet when I peeled it off the next day.

If you are working with cords, cables or anything that needs to be held down THIS IS THE TAPE YOU NEED. It holds items in place and when it's time to remove it, there is no residue left behind. I use it for my DJ business, keeps my cords in place and looks professional. The tape holds my stands from blowing down in the wind and stays put in the rain. Don't go to your next gig without a roll.

This is a great price on this gaff tape, especially this size. Gaff tape not only works well in the music and theater production industry, but is a better alternative for many in home applications as it is strong tape but leaves no glue residue.

Despite the advertising and marketing, my simple “tape a box closed” test shows how awful this tape works.This box has been taped close for about 1 week, and sitting on a breakfast table in 72 degrees of conditioned air.And outside of the flaps of the box, there are no stresses pushing from within trying to burst out.Still, the tape cannot maintain its adhesion.Absolutely the worst tape I have ever used.A complete waste of money....Update - 2 Months Later...The tape is so bad and unreliable that I ended up just using it as very expensive "masking tape."But here's the kicker, because it doesn't hold very well, if I want to leave it masking my projects for more than 10-15 minutes, I actually have to use 3M masking tape over this gaffers tape to keep the gaffer tape down.
