I have always been a staunch advocate of soldering any connections. I then needed to add a VFD unit and a digital temperature monitor to my Bandsaw, when I added a 3 phase motor to it.All of the wiring was of course stranded, normally I would either add some solder to the stranded wire or bend the wire back over the plastic outer covering, before attempting to push the wire into the screw terminals. This time, as I was constructing a housing for the VFD I know that I would have to assemble and disassemble a couple of times for testing purposes. I then saw this product by ‘Mr Quality’ and sold by ‘Finer Life’. It came with 1350 deferent size ferrule wire crimps. I decided to give it a try, delivery was very fast and on time. As you can see from the pictures I used the crimps not only on the VFD but also on the digital temperature display. The kit gave me all the sizes that I needed for the different wire grades that I used and enabled me to use deferent sized crimps for each unit that I connected. The crimps also finish with a serrated finish so that any screw clamps will attached tightly, one other positive once crimped they can also be cut to length without losing any wire retention. I am now a firm believer in this product and will never use the soldering iron again to fit stranded wire to any screw terminals. I thoroughly recommend this product, buy it now! A very satisfied customer.

I bought this set and find it works very well so far. Time will tell on durability of the pliers but so far so good.

I purchased this tool for building 3d printers. I assemble and repair a lot of printers, it can be considered dangerous to insert bare wire into the terminal blocks so I purchased these ferrule connectors and crimping tool to attach on the end of the wires. This tool is very easy to use, just insert the connector into the tool, insert the wire and squeeze the tool. The crimps are very strong, even if you tug on the wires they stay firmly in place. The kit comes with tonnes of connectors for a wide range of wire gauges.

For the price , I wasn't expecting much to be honest. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tool and the ferrules. I've tried the .75mm ferrule and after crimping it provides a secure connection that's can't be removed easily. All round I think this will be a great tool and a go to for terminating the ends of wires on projects

Great crimping set, as an electrician I'll say that these are good for doing DIY jobs or installs. Obviously not calibrated, more of a multipurpose crimping tool, but if you need calibrated then I assume you'd not be buying tools like this from amazon anyway. For the price this is a great and comprehensive set to make a lot more secure and precise cable ends off. Completely negates the chance of having 'spiders legs' and causing pain in the ass shorts to find. Great product, would recommend
