I bought this for myself as a birthday present to myself. I was going to spend $300 on a nice Citizen watch but found this for 10% of my budget and reviews looked *mostly promising so I decided to "cheap out", acknowledging I may be unsatisfied with the quality and decide to return to get something else. I received it today and unless the sucker stops working, I'm in love.I've seen reviews about the quality lacking and someone mentioned they felt like this watch would chip if they hit it against a hard object. I disagree. I was very surprised at how much weight this watch has. It is a hunk of steel! I feel like I could throw it to the ground full force and only the glass would break (maybe?).2nd, I saw a review that someone didn't believe the leather is real. It is. I'm not a big fan of the design pattern on the leather band but I wouldn't even go so far as to say it's ugly or unattractive. I just think it could have been done better, but, I still like the pattern scheme more than I'd like it to be plain so I'm not complaining here all that much at all. The pattern just doesn't look orderly at all and seems very... abstract.. little unpractical if you will.The gold tone is neither impressively imitative nor overwhelmingly fake. It falls in a Grey zone of could look more real, could look more fake. It isn't obnoxiously shiny. I was concerned it may be. I feel like the tone itself is very comparable to real gold but you can still tell, at least with a close look, that it's not gold / plated. However, unless you're buying a several thousand dollar watch such as a Rolex, you're not getting real gold. Even the expensive $800 watches are made of essentially the same exact materials as a watch like this, but, don't mistake me, this is no $800 quality watch.. You are sacrificing both mechanical quality and "rich" esthetic. A $3-400+ watch mocks real gold very well. This gets a 6/10 at best. But, again, anyone that knows anything about watches knows 99% of people don't have ANY real gold on their watch whether they paid $30 or $500. It is just how well it imitates real gold really, in my personal opinion. Unless you're prepared to spend several thousand dollars on a shiny wrist hugger, this really isn't a bad purchase. The design is extremely appealing. The quality seems very fair for the price. I probably would pay closer to $60 for a watch like this. $30 is a steal and $300 is a robbery when there's a watch like this.T-Winner gets my recommend.Overall satisfaction score (based on value): 10/10Overall satisfaction score (unbased on value): 9/10** -1 point for the unpractical leather pattern designGift? It’s fabulous, looks really nice in my husband hands. I just wanna say you should improve your packaging with a good quality box. Otherwise it’s great.

I really like this watch and it's unusual look. I get a lot of complements on it from people who want a closer look at it. The yellow face really stands out and the band is a nice complementary dark brown leather. It is large, thick and has some weight to it so be prepared. The only downside is the "B" button doesn't work but that doesn't bother me. It keeps time and I don't need the small dial functions.

The media could not be loaded. Was looking for an inexpensive watch and this one definitely stood out. Purchased it and three days later I received it in the mail. Arrived in a simple box with standard instructions. No scuff marks or damage to the watch during delivery.Watch looks great and definitely stands out compared to my more expensive watches in my collection. This is the only gold colored one in my collection since I stick to mostly black or silver watches so no comment on how accurate the gold color is. Watch hands glow in the dark when used in daylight, was surprised about it and is a nice addition at this price point.Watch strap is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Strap is an alligator scale style , it fits the watch well and doesn't distract from it. The watch feels light on my wrist even with it's giant size, this watch is defitely not for those with small wrists.I have worn this watch for two days and my impression of watch has been positive so far. The most important thing to me is that this watch is accurate and so far it seems to keep time well while on my wrist. This watch has an automatic winder rotor and it works as expected, watch stays wound during the day based on your arm movement. I notice that the battery reserve lasted 6 hours when I placed it in my watch drawer for the night. I follow the instructions to set watch time and manually wind the watch , no issues and watch is up and running.Only time will tell how well this watch will hold up, I plan to give an update after a month of on/off use. So far I would say this watch is worth the price .Improvements I would like to see*Smaller case size availability*Longer battery reserve*Thinner watch back or replace with glass back*More pronounced bezel*Thicker CrownWhat I don't want to see* Additional dials - This watch dial is easy to read and doesn't need anything to distract from this simplicity.

Ordered this watch and while it’s very nice looking it did not keep time - felt like a battery issue but given that this was a brand new watch I returned it and ordered a replacement watch. The 2nd time and this watch doesn’t work at all either. This is very frustrating as it was a gift and I’m really disappointed.

The material isn’t great quality and let a green spot where the metal portion of the wristwatch was touching my actual wrist. Looks good, but isn’t great.

I am a watch collector and I came across this beautiful watch. I needed an inexpensive watch for everyday use. I purchased this watch and I love it. This watch is a true mechanical watch not an automatic so you have to wind it up. Easy to do just give the crown a few rounds about 3 hours. I wore it all week and it keeps perfect time a steal of a buy.

As I enjoy good design, I found this watch to be a great addition to my collection of mechanical watches.
