A great deal to celebrate 80 years of a childhood classic.
For the 80th anniversary of the Railway Series, I was not expecting Mattel and Fisher-Price to make these new toys. I'm honestly astonished with this new wave and the characters that they're making. These motorized and push along engines are not perfect copies of the actual characters, but they look a lot better than the ones from the previous motorized range from 2018-2021. The motorized counterparts of Gordon and James even have removable coal loads for their tenders, maybe it's hinting at a Coal Hopper train set in future waves. I highly recommend you get this pack of engines, and for the best possible experience with the motorized ones get yourself a thomas train set. Preferably that motorized train bucket set while they are still in stock and that motorized Barrel launch set that goes with this new 80th anniversary wave. A big thank you to Mattel and Fisher-Price for bringing back the classic Thomas and Friends look with new and improved toys, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for more of these.
