I genuinely adore this little thing. I live in a rented apartment with no fireplace but grew up with a woodburning fireplace and miss it so much during the dark cold winter months. This is a little unit, so it won't take the place of a real fireplace with mantel, but I set it up on my desk for some calming cozy ambience while I work, and then move it to my bedside table at night while I'm reading or getting ready for bed. It's really very nice, and I've had it running almost 24/7 since I got it a week ago and it's still going strong. Absolutely worth the money to add a bit of charm and coziness to your life. But fyi the cord is pretty short, and if you run it 24/7 like me it'll go through batteries quickly.

This thing is super awesome! I bought one as a gift for a friend and then had to buy a second one for myself. Very nice ambience! The flames are very realistic. It's small enough to put almost anywhere. I like that you can plug it in, or use batteries. It is made out of plastic. It does not produce heat. The flames look more realistic than what is captured in the video.

Love this mini fireplace! For Christmas, I added stockings with my grandchildren’s names & placed money in each stocking. It was a unique way to give them money (they ask for $ every year). I added tiny garland, colored battery operated lights & a mini platter of cookies to the mantle. I think it turned out really cute! The grandchildren use them for night lights after Christmas. I used mine next to a mechanical Santa for a Christmas vignette. Love it!

I am creating a Christmas scene for my office desk and this worked great. It makes no sound but it’s nice to watch and I appreciate that it gives you the option of batteries or a plug in. It comes with a usb plug so you will need to have a wall adapter if you can’t plug in as is. It’s feels sturdy and I think will last many Christmases ahead.

Battery died immediately but I just use the plug instead, been going strong for several months now

The product listing isn’t accurate or consistent. It says “3 AAA batteries required (included).” This product does not use AAA batteries — it uses AA batteries. And no batteries were included. I sent this as a gift to my mom who’s in rehab and also purchased and AAA batteries for her so she could use it. Of course they won’t work, because the product listing lists the wrong battery type and falsely claims batteries are included. Disappointed.

Painted it to look like a real fireplace. Used it for story time in my classroom, and the kids loved it. Going to use it in my van conversion now. Thank you.
