Way better than standard utility knife
Should have bought one of these a long time ago. So much faster and easier to change a blade than a normal utility knife, and you can just break off the dull tip and slide the blade down of it gets dull on the fly. These break-off blades are way heavier duty than normal blades. They might be tougher than standard utility blades.

This is not your typical box cutter…
Wow! I have seen a couple of people on youtube use a “box cutter” before, but sort of laughed. Who in their right mind would try to cut drywall with a dime store box cutter…First, this is a tool - not what I am used to seeing at all. I have a very dim view of box cutters after the blade snapped on one unused years ago and almost cut me badly enough for stitches. I relative died and I found the above typical box cutter in their shop. I kept it around, but didn’t use it.I decided to try the olfa knife primarily because I knew ai could return it. I never dreamed that it would become a permanent fixture in my pocket. This again is not a cheap piece of plastic, it has body and weight. The blades (besides looking really cool) are stout. Besides being wider, they are also more like what you would expect to have in a razor knife. I have waited until after i had given this knife a real work out to write my review. So far I have not broken a blade - even though a couple of times I had at least 4 section exposed. The knife is also somewhat ergonomic. Typically when I have worked with my hands all day, they begin to ache - when something doesn’t ache - it tells me it feels right. I could see this knife being used all day without a problem.I feel stupid because for two or three years, I have scoffed at people I have watched using these. Well, I plan to have more of an open mind when it comes to tools and techniques. The older I get, the more I appreciate good tools and despise cheap tools - this tool is not only a keeper, but I bought a second one to leave in my shop. I am sold!

Hands down the best box cutters I’ve ever owned!!!
I love these for my business. I even bought one to keep at home. The handle on them enable you to get a grip when you’re holding it and they can also be locked up by the bevel so the blade won’t shift. The blades from Olfa are very sharp and last a longggggg time!!!! Will never buy another brand.

Best knife for Drywall work
I bought this knife for doing drywall work, as the blade gets dulled so quickly. Being able to snap off the end and get a new point was a big time and frustration saver!

Not my favorite Olfa
I own a few Olfa snap blade knives. 9 mm, 18mm and this 25mm. I like the size of this one for heavier work , but I truly do not like the knob that must be turned to lock/unlock the blade. I know it's an extra safety type feature, but for me it's cumbersome and interferes with getting the job done. The knife is very good except for this. This one will be relegated to the bottom of my tool bag and I will use the 18mm regularly . I hope Olfa will offer the 25mm without the knob feature

High Quality Utility Knife
Fantastic utility knife. Great design...not too big, not too small, not too heavy, but still beefy for heavy cutting jobs...no sore hands after lots of heavy cutting). Easy blade retraction and replacement. Blades last a reasonable amount of time. Excellent value!
