When I read that the electric throw was flannel, I was anticipating cotton or a natural fabric, at least on the underside. It turned out to be 100% polyester shiny fleece. Otherwise the blanket heats up well with an auto shut off. It is extremely lightweight.

I’m loving this heated blanket especially with how cold it has gotten out of nowhere. My only issue is that the heat isn’t spread out throughout the blanket. It’s only works in certain parts of the blanket. Other parts don’t get warm at all.

Edited: Wonderful customer service! They reached out and offered a full refund. Blanket seems to heat in middle better the longer that it is on. Middle of blanket doesn’t warm up like the ends

I ordered the blanket in brown. But got a checkered brown and white blanket. That’s my only complaint. But the blanket is super cozy.

I got it to keep at my office and it is the perfect size, not too small, not too bulky. It is lightweight yet warm, even when it is turned off. I really like the fact that you can wash it if you need to, just unplug the cable from the blanket. I have yet to see how it holds up in time and will edit the review if it doesn’t, but so far 10/10.

It gets VERY warm pretty quickly on the high setting. Ahhh, quick warmth on a cold night! What more can I ask of performnce?Shortcomings:For a twin bed, the heated area is only as wide as the mattress. This means that when the bed is occupied, the edges of the mattress get cool - a shocker if you move around in the middle of the night! Maybe all electric blankets are like this, but they shouldn't be.As far as I can tell, the control is a simple rheostat - it controls how much electricity is going through the wiring. There does not seem to be a sensor controlling it. Also, the control button turns it to low, then medium, then high, then off - you can't choose your favorite setting and then turn it on and off.I wonder if the blanket was made, or designed, in Japan? The control is perfectly designed to rest on the floor beside a futon, but not so good for a nightstand: it's in-line between the bed plug and the wall outlet, so it has to drape over the nightstand, either front to back, or side to side, or catty-corner - and the latter is precarious, easily knoceked off. It doesn't help that the cord is thick and stiff.I will live with it for a while, but someday I'll replace it with a thermostat-controlled model with wider heating area (even if I have to get one for a larger bed!)

Loved the blanket and it gets really warm. Downside- Auto shut off is 3 hours.

The size is perfect to take to the treatment facility... not too bulky. Soft material and the heat works well.

I always get so cold and this blanket is a godsend, I like the automatic shutoff and the heat settings. I will get another in a bigger size!

I’ve had to unplug the blanket after each use to turn it back on again and the timer shuts off after only an hour of being on
