installed a few days ago. this was my first time installing brake pads. I have been using brakes normally since, and the difference is so noticeable. my initial problem was a grinding noise. my rotor is okay, so this pad kit was great for the price. it comes with its own small packet of lubrication grease. When mounting the new pads I used the included grease where the pad contacts the caliper. I used a different high temperature grease for the sliding caliper bolts. I do not know if the included grease is meant for the sliding caliper bolts, the other grease I used was much more heavy duty.

Did the job, but..... All 4 pads showed signs of having been installed before. The grease pkg was open and empty. Would have sent them back but the work was already underway. If Amazon is going to accept returns they HAVE to do a better job checking their products before re-selling them. UPDATE* After contacting Amazon they creditted my account in full AND allowed me to keep the set. Got an extra star, good customer service!!!!
