This is a very nice and functional scale
I recently started a quest to lose some weight and as part of that wanted to start logging all my food in an app. After some research I decided to give this one a try. I have always been happy with Oxo products and this is no exception. It is a good sized scale and I can still read the display even with a full sized plate sitting on it. I like that it is easy to zero and easy to switch between pounds, ounces, and grams. I also like that the output keeps displaying for plenty of time to make entries in my app. It looks nice, has a good range and seems durable. It's not cheap but I believe that it is worth the price.

Good Quality
I was impressed by the ease of use of the scale. It is sturdy and seems to be made well. The digital screen is easy to read. I really like the pull out screen when using an oversized plate or bowl. I love the zero out function of the scale which allows you to weigh an ingredient in any type of container. I also like that the tray is removable for cleaning.

Love the scale
Very simple to use. Variable weight units available. The pullout display is very handy as it allows using large bowls. Good quality, construction, and easy to clean.

Accurate scale, easy to use, awesome display!
It’s stainless steel. I wish it could be a different color. So McDonald’s. I prefer bright, cheery, happy stuff. But my options were black and stainless, so okay, fine, stainless it is. It’s a really good scale. I tested it for accuracy with weights. I got the one that holds extra weight because I want to put heavy bowls on it sometimes and fill them with flour or meat. I love that it can handle that. It is simple to use and easily toggles between metric and regular weights. It holds the weight on the screen nicely so you get time to write it down if you need to do that. It’s so easy to use that I tossed the explanation. I don’t have to re-read it. But the BEST part is the little pull-out display thingie. I LOVE THAT THING. No contortions required to check the weight. No button to lock. No nothing. I can just SEE the flippin thing. Alleluia. Oxo is generally reliable but they really knocked it out of the park here. (Would it kill them to offer one that is a less depressing color?)

Great kitchen scale
Finally bought a kitchen scale and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to use. The display panel pulls out so you can read it even with very large bowls. You are able to add ingredients because the scale adjusts. Wish I had gotten it years ago. Old habits sometimes die hard.

So far so good it seems like a good scale!
So far so good! I’ve only had the scale for a week but it seems to weigh fairly accurately and it’s very easy to use. I cannot say if it’s worth the money I paid yet but I’m hoping that it is. I’ve bought many over the years much cheaper and I thought that I’d invest in a so called better one. Time will tell. It’s fairly light and seems to be made pretty well. I can say update later on.

A must-have for any home cook
This scale is fantastic for what it's intended to do: weigh things. Super visible display, batteries are replaceable and cheap, and you get tenths of an ounce which is plenty accurate for cooks of all skill levels. You do have to remember to turn it off, but this also means it only shuts off when you want it to, not while you're weighing out ingredients and you realize you need to go find the coconut oil that's in the back of the pantry. "But reviewer, I hardly ever bake! What am I going to use this thing for?" Even if you're not baking, if your recipe uses weight measurements, this will make your resulting dishes more consistent and much easier to control. If all your liquid measuring cups are occupied or dirty, you can measure water using the rhyme, "A pint's a pound the world around." It's not accurate everywhere, water can change density depending on factors like temperature and air pressure, but it's close enough for most tasks. If you're a barista or aspiring barista and you're trying to nail down a coffee recipe, you're going to need the mass of the beans and the water that goes in the brewing device. You'll have to use an app or a stopwatch to get the steep time. If you bought a big pile of bulk food (e.g. meat) from one of those big box stores, you can use this to portion it out in one-serving sizes, so whenever you need to cook, you pull one out from the freezer and you don't have to think about how much to use. For 30 minutes to an hour's work on the weekend, you save a bunch of money over any store-bought equivalent and you get the same convenience.

Great product - has all the features you need
Great product- makes it easy to weigh ingredients. Easily switch from ounces to grams, zero out measurements easily in between. The display pulls out so you can see it if you have a wide plate, etc on the scale. Display lights up. Sturdy. Good buy
