needed bulkhead fittings for a pond filter i was making and couldnt find any local so ordered these since they were a good price and had good reviews. they work great and would get more if needed.

They fit good seals

Rain barrel solution. I had brass fitting and after a while it leaked. the rubber seal was dried and cracked and it leaked. Drip drip drip. Replaced the barrel and used these this time. all is good again.

perfect for linking rain barrels.

I would have marked it a five but a few of them were off sized and for a tight fit that is not good happen. Other wise the price and quality of the bulk heads and unions are much better than the BRS.

My Eshopps overflow came with a cracked bulkhead years ago with a slow leak that eventually built enough mineral deposits to seal itself until recently. The hose need to be replace after years due to it deteriorating and once I touch it it leaked like crazy. Knowing I now had to replace it at first I was sticker shocked by how much bulkheads were selling for so much so that I almost talked myself out of buying these for the price thinking it was too good to be true. Well I am so glad I did my leak problems are solved.

Very light duty bulkhead fittings. I ordered a few of the 1" and installed same on a 300 gallon aquarium with a drilled bottom (and top). On the initial fill one of the bulkheads that drained from the bottom of the tank had an occasional drip but not a huge deal. It wouldn't self seal though so after a month of watching that tiny drip I thought I might give the nut a little bit of a turn to see if maybe it had come loose. With that I found the problem and it was that the flange inside the tank was not thick enough and upon installation had a slight failure just from tightening the nut. With that one final adjustment the entire fitting failed and you can imagine what a 300g leak through a 1" fitting looks like. Use them at the top of the tank to affix PVC to holes drilled in the top but if you use them in a drilled bottom note that they're thin and the risk is high. Very high.
