Great cable for Android Auto
This cable is very well done. Well packaged. Well made (braided, sturdy end connectors). And the perfect length for my cell phone so I can plug it into the car's USB port and use Android Auto. I especially bought this "90 degree" cable since my other "straight" short cable had to turn at a sharp angle, and the longer cable with my old phone kept getting hit by the gear shift. I'm also glad for the phone's USB C port on the bottom as I don't have worry about inverting the cable. Btw, I tested this cable with my PC and it worked fine to transfer data (just to verify it could). Big thumbs up. I'll order this again when I wear out the one I just purchased.

Great cord (s) especially for the price.
I don't know if I read the description wrong. But this comes with two(2) cords one short one(which is what I expected) and a longer standard length cord(unexpected).Package arrived on time and in good condition. The cords are a heavy metal? and Nylon Braided type material, very sturdy and seem well made. They charge well and come with a nice (not cheap feeling) leather strap with a snap for wrapping up the cord. The color from pictures is accurate. The right angle aspect of the charger is nice and the whole charger bit is very sturdy. It takes getting used to though rather than the regular charger cords. All in all great cord so far charges fast. I haven't had any issues so far. I like it especially for the price.

Great quality cable and good size for Android Auto vehicle connections.
Purchased this to use Android Auto with my Samsung S8 in my 2017 Corvette, and it works great. Very nice quality cable, works very well, and the perfect size for what I needed. Small enough to connect the phone to the USB port inside the armrest w/o having a bunch of extra cable taking up the limited available space. Also took the cable with me on a recent vacation trip and used it for Android Auto in a Dodge Charger rental car, and worked just as well there.UPDATE: Purchased a second cable for use with Android Auto in other vehicles, and it worked great with my S8 in both a 2019 Chevy Colorado and 2018 Jeep Wrangler!UPDATE 11/30/19: Both cables continue to work well with Android Auto in my Corvette and Wrangler JL, now using a Samsung S10 primarily. Used the cables while traveling in several different Android Auto-equipped rental cars over the last year and had no problems to date.

Very heavy duty cables
Purchased for 2 primary reasons. 1. The 90° usb-c connector. 2. High speed rating which should be compatible with Android Auto. The good- the cables seem very sturdy (the thickest USB cable I've ever used), connections are very tight, it does work reliably with Android Auto (haven't tested it's claimed data speed rating). The bad- the 90° connector is very "deep" so it's almost as long as a straight connector and just fits the compartment inn the car's console. The cable is so stiff that you need to make any bends gradual and not twist the cable. Just have 2 weeks so need to see how they holds up.

Great for use in the car
***Update 2/26/19:I hate when someone gets the shiny new thing and gives stellar reviews, but has problems and doesn't let anyone know!I'm updating my review to kinda do something odd and reinforce my original impressions- still working great and even tested fate with another one...I noted a number of reviews that some have had problems with Android Auto and this cable. I chalked it up to a possible lapse in quality control, but I recently took the chance and purchased a 2nd one for use in another vehicle.Zero problems with the new cable, testing with a OnePlus 6T and a Samsung S8 in two different vehicles ('17 Corvette w/GM MyLink and a Kenwood DMX7705S aftermarket HU in a Silverado LTZ pickup). No new pics, it's a cable folks and works. This is running Waze along with either iHeartRadio or Pandora along with routine phone functions or Google voice commands via AA. Zero problems from either the new cable or the original that's now almost a year old. Would still recommend, especially in light of the longevity of the original and the success with the new. And no, I have zero affiliation to the seller or manufacturer and yes I paid for both cables- no comp freebie from the company but based on my experience would take a free one without complaint... :-)Original review 4/10/2018:Have been looking for a short cable for use in the car, especially one with a right-angle connector on the USB C end. Most look a little sketchy but ordered this one to take a chance.Fits perfectly in the center console (using a Samsung S8) and no issues so far with charging, data transfer or disconnects but I did just receive it. The cable is long enough to run it from the vehicle connector to the phone but actually seems to work better to loop it.Time will tell if it is durable in normal use but build quality seems solid on 1st impressions. So far, charges fine, connects without error and no link drops!

For my Subaru Forester and iPhone
Worked perfectly for my connection with my Subaru non-wireless Car Play and iPhone that fits in my center console.

Not good enough for Android Auto
So I got this for one purpose: To replace the longer Anker cable I was using in my car to connect my phone through Android Auto. Over the last year or so, there have been issues with Android Auto staying connected. It turns out many of the issues people experience are due to cables that can't handle it. I switched to a cable by Anker which solved all my connectivity issues. This one is the right size and has that nice 90 degree angle to be lower profile. However, trying to use this cable brought back my Android Auto connectivity issues. So it's unusable for the stated purpose. It will still charge and if that's what you need it for (hence 3 stars), go for it. But if you are going to use it with Android Auto, it's likely not going to work (also hence 3 stars).

Carries data and charges
Seems to be well-made. I use this wire to carry data from a small device plugged into my car's USB port that tricks the car head unit into thinking a cell phone is hard-wired. The old wire while good was intermittent. With this wire the car recognizes my cell pretty much immediately and locks on.
