These adapters are amazing! They're all metal construction, which was a pleasant surprise. They're very easy to tuck away in your pants pocket or in a backpack, making them super portable. They function as expected and I've never experienced connection issues while using them. Based on their build quality, functionality, and portability, these get 5 stars from me!

I tested these adapters pass full USB 3 pins through for fast data and charging. Simple and light weight, great to keep in your bag with a good USB-C 3 cable.

These are well constructed, and the connectors fit correctly. The ad says "Max Transmission Speed: 5Gbps (One side supports USB 3.0 standard, the other side only supports USB 2.0 standard.)" The person who wrote the ad doesn't understand USB terminology. USB 2.0 only supports up to 480 Mbps. One side is USB-A and the other is USB-C, and USB 3.0 speeds are supported.Using either a USB-C port or USB-A 3.0 port on my laptop, I get 70% of 5 Gbps using a SanDisk Extreme SSD. I get the same speeds using this adapter with the SSD. Using this adapter, I get the same charging times I normally do using 2A and 3A chargers (5V). I'm not sure why these are limited to 3A. Maybe it's related to their support for a MagSafe charger, which I don't have.

It looks very well made doesn't appear to be cheap plastic like many other usbs. Its hard to tell if this is plastic or metal but it still seems nice at least look wise. I plugged it in and used my c to c cord and transfer went through with no issues. Its very nice that it comes in a 2 pack so now I can use my c to c cables both in my computer and in my car, which both lacked usb-c ports. I also like how its a fairly small size and doesn't take up too much of the USB. All in all I have no complaints
