Just got this honey. I use it to sweeten my green tea for the health benefits. Supposed to be as good as Manuka honey. It isn’t as sweet as the honey I’m accustomed to, but still good. Almost has a dark syrup taste to me. It’s good. It’s a thick honey, not runny. It looks dark and thick. The texture is smooth and it melts in my tea quickly. If it has all the benefits of manuka, I’m really on board with this honey because it’s less expensive.

I have been testing many varieties of honey from around the world recently, and this is right up there with the best for daily use. Many varieties are great, but for me some are only able to be eaten in small amounts once in awhile as they are very strong. I am finding out honey is a very personal and varied product, depending on individual tastes, the flower, and the region, and these tastes can vary across the spectrum. I would take any negative reviews with a grain of salt on any honey now., tasty and rating honey is like wine, everyone has a different palette. Even in my household what I think is great others do not (though they can tell the quality is good, just not to their tastes, so I imagine reviews of all honey are similar, so until you test, you do not know, one star could be 5 star easily if this is how you judge a product) I have read that buckwheat can be strong to off-putting, but I did not get this experience, and if this is how all buckwheat honey tastes, I am a buckwheat fan. The smell is unique and I can see how some people might not like it, but it is not a bad smell, just different. Since my honey adventure I am finding most of these artisanal honeys are tastes that most have never experienced, there is no equivalence to judge from, they are unique, and when it comes to this honey, the taste to me was nothing like the smell, it was very flavorful, not overly strong, dense, and delicious, felt healthy, also the packaging was good and unlike some reviews, mine was not graining and the consistency was very pourable. Will order again

Very good, great taste, very dark and rich, different then other honey I have had. I hope this doesn't raise the price. Good job to the makers.

The very second you open the bottle you realize how authentically raw and unprocessed this honey is. The crystallization and thickness of this dark brown honey absolutely blows you away! It took a little bit to adjust to the smell and taste. Not that it's bad, but incredibly different from anything I've tried before. This winter my son caught the flu and was very sick. I had been taking this for about a month (1 tsp a day). Myself as well as my doctor thought for sure I would get it (because I never got the vax), because of my proximity to my son. Although I felt like I was fighting something, I never got sick. I'm 100 % convinced that this is what got me through. The value for the money and antioxidants compared to the Manuka or Jarrah is very clear. This is my go to honey and will continue to be for now.

I didn’t know it was possible for honey to actually ever smell awful. Smells & tastes putrid. Not normal or remotely fresh. Honey should never smell like a rotten corpse! Seller needs to check their batches! It is completely unacceptable to make money off others by selling products without regard for safety & quality. If companies acted with honesty, they would have customers for life, but instead take shortcuts for quick gains. It’s despicable. Integrity seems to have disappeared from commerce. It seems anyone selling food products on Amazon now knows they don’t have to be accountable for poor quality, as refunds are not given. People have grown extremely tired of being cheated by companies that simply don’t care to be honorable in their management and sales. Make it right - stand by your product with a refund or proper replacement!
