I bought these for power outages, as general lighting. I wanted specifically the soft-white, and the capability to switch to warm white -- more yellowish and easier on the eyes. I hadn't read the instructions all that closely, so at first thought they didn't change color modes and weren't what I ordered. No; reading the instructions again, not to mention the Amazon description page!... I realized it takes TWO short pushes to the center to change modes. I did that, and Wah-Lah! it worked perfectly. These are nicely bright lights. They say 100 lumens, which actually is decent. If you're out camping and want some sort of wide-area bright light, this is NOT what you want. These are indoor, area lights. As they say; for closets, bathrooms, hallways, bedroom nights and so forth. Or, in my case, power outages. I don't intend to stick them to anything; just use them on countertops. For people saying the sticky pad doesn't hold, I can tell you that none of these kinds of sticky-pad lights hold. There's a better solution. I bought some of that EZLifeGo clear, double-sided nano-tape, and THAT stuff is incredible! I wanted a non-permanent way to mount an under-cabinet battery light (a different one). This tape sticks extremely well, AND it's not difficult to remove. You have to be careful on fake veneer things like cheap kitchen cabinets, but if you rub with your thumb, it comes off nicely. I tried just the tape, but it wouldn't hold the light upside down, hanging. So I bought some Velcro dots, like people use for sewing things (craft sections). First, I put the nano-tape where I wanted the light. Then I stuck the soft felt side to the back of the light, and the "loop" side to the nano tape. That works brilliantly! You can use as many of the Velcro buttons as you want, so even fairly heavy items work. And having Velcro, it's much easier to take off to replace batteries, then stick back up. All in all, I'm very happy with these little puck lights. I'd thought of getting USB rechargeable, but realized that "AA" batteries are entirely reliable. They can sit until the power goes out and still be charged. USB is pretty reliable, but if the charge dies during the outage, you're out of luck unless you have a portable power bank. So alkaline batteries are better. If they don't last days and days, so what? The batteries are cheap enough to keep many of them on hand. Just remember to tap TWO times, in quick succession to change the color mode. The back is also a bit problematic. It sits flush with the outer rim of the light, and has 3 little tabs that slide into three little slots. The surface of the back has some raised "treads" so you have some friction/traction when turning the back to open or close. However, to securely close the back you have to turn it (clockwise) far enough to hear a soft "click." I had a hard time with that, even with the traction grooves. For me; I used a small screwdriver to carefully push the back around that last tiny bit. It can be done with thumb pressure, but be aware -- it only is locked close after you hear the little "click."

Touch control works well. The light is bright enough. Would buy them again

Pleasantly surprise. Packaged well and each light wrapped up individually in a protective sleeve. Ease to open and easy batter insertion. Has 3 different light settings and I must say, I am impressed. Touch pad to activate seemed a little loose but it is secure. I wanted something easy and battery operated and not something to recharge. I bought it for a patio storage closet at it lit the room up quite nicely.

Works great. 2 colors. Dimming. Sticks well to rv paneling.

Amazing square design; can be used as table lamp. On the the lowest setting power lasts about 5 days of ON setting. Even on lowest setting it's bright enough for a total darkness...on Medium it's gonna last like 3 days ON until it's drained. Very easy to set it up with one click: Press and hold for 2 sec for the bright or same 2 sec for the low lights; then start using by fast regular click for all other setups you like. Easy as 1 2 3... One huge space button-front glass operation! It has 4 choices of light power and it will remember the last setup automatically. I highly recommend this portable magic light. Note: do not through away the foamy bag. Use it as light dimmer - it's much cozier for the eyes in total darkness.

I put the batteries in and the lights worked. I then placed the lights under the kitchen cabinets and secured them with the attached glue strips. I tested each light and did the job. After about thirty minutes or so there was crashing sounds coming from the kitchen. The lights fell down. I tried to put one light back under the cabinet in different spots. It kept falling down. I was going to be beaten by bad glue. I did the obvious and drilled a hole in a corner and secured the light with a screw. I tested the light and moved on to the others. All work great. The glue, not so great!

They work. Nice bright light. No sensor so remember to click them off. Sensor lights do NOT work do not bother with them

These are really handy for dark spots in a home that need an occasional extra bit of light, such as under cabinets or deep shelves. The batteries are easy to replace. We have a bunch of them around our house now. I prefer the touch ones to motion sensor, since I can control when I need them on.

We can use it whenever we want , we have full control over on/off ... motion sensor lights suddenly switch on and off and difficult to charge we need power bank for convenience...but this works in simple AA battery and we can switch on and off whenever needed , I really liked it hope this helps ...

The lights came very well packaged and the batteries included was a great extra.
