Just what was needed and very good quality

Why did you choose this product over others?:Plastic vent chosen to avoid corrosion - have used rawl plugs and a bead of sealant on the top edge to avoid any water ingress (and when scaffolding down they will be cleaned)

Good size,couldn't get 'off the shelf'. Looks good, sturdy metal construction, so not cheap plastic, hence price. Would be better supplied with screws(not included). Fly screen poorly fitted. Only siliconed top and bottom so flies,insects etc can bypass it. Nothing a little extra silicone won't fix. Feedback..yes I would buy this again..but could be better with a bit more effort. Hence 4 not 5 stars..

Surprisingly, this is a metal grille, well painted, with an insect screen, which was poorly fitted.Basically the mesh was attached to the screen inside with a few blobs of mastic (silicon sealant) but which would have allowed insects easy ingress along the unsealed sides. The photo with the red arrows shows where I had to mastic along the sides, not a big job but a pity it wasn't fixed better to begin with.It was easy to fit and I think it looks good; two photos show it close-up and then the "bigger picture" photo shows it on my shed door.Price was slightly higher than I wanted, but I suppose does reflect the fact it was a metal, no plastic, grille. I should have read the description better, so mea culpa.Would I order again? Yes.Recommend to a friend? Yes.
