Gas Valve LP/NG White Rogers (476-500)

Works perfectly. Just what we needed. Plus inexpensive.

I’m just baffled, never had this happen before. Our Hear N Glo gas fireplace was diagnosed needing this gas valve part. I was given this link by the gas repair person, who returned to install it once it arrived. Since we are in California, it’s not unusual that we don’t run our fireplace weeks at a time. He installed it, the room was toasty when he left. I thought great! I did it the next afternoon, then we didn’t use it again for another 3, poss 4 weeks ( not looking at a calendar!) vacation, then good weather. I was broken hearted when I tried to start it- and nothing! Very disappointed!!!
