This little guy is smaller than I thought it would be which is fine, actually better. I mean, I usually use these small 1/4 inch bits to work on small equipment. Something from the enormous amount of tech stuff I have acquired over the years related to photography, computers, cell phone accessories etc. I have the micro drivers covered by Wera and Wiha, but 1/4 bits are probably the most used and handy tools in my world. At home I keep this little Wiha stubby bit holder in small 1 litre electronic accessories bag with my Wera bit set and Felo 1/4 mini ratchet. This combination will handle 99.9% of the jobs I have for small work in my hobbies and around the house. For bigger jobs with bigger screws I have a more heavy duty set from Craftsman. The Wiha stubby bit holder is really a no brainer to have. It’s not expensive and it’s a very good grip. Better than many others I’ve tried. It also has a very strong magnetic bit holder. You won’t be disappointed. I considered the ratcheting model, then saw a better one, then another better one until I pushed the buy button on a PB Swiss ratcheting model. I’m just generally crazy finding myself a bit too appreciative of quality tools and laying down over $100 dollars CDN for a ratcheting stubby. The Wiha and Wera, or even Klein are sooo much cheaper and will do the job. But, that’s life. Anyways, if you’re in the market for a stubby non-ratcheting bit holder, don’t think twice, this is better than most. You can’t go wrong. Of note, I also have Wiha’s GoBox 1/4 bit set. They come in several variants, with ratchet or screwdriver etc. and are so small in their own aluminum case. It has a bunch of bits and is Phenomenal. Wiha is very strong in this market sector as for the price and quality, very hard to beat. Recommended.
