Men can use these towels to dry off the car or truck after hand washing. The absorption of these towels is great. Fast drying too!!

European made? Where are these made?

These 100% cotton terry dish towels are made in Portugal.

Will the colors bleed if washed with bleach?

I have the red and white towels and have occasionally washed them with other white items using chlorine bleach and have not seen any color bleed. If bleaching often, the color will probably fade, though. These are the best kitchen towels I've ever owned - well worth the price!

does this fabric have a nap like terry cloth? or is it a flat weave?

It has little loops, like terry, but shorter. More like a Dobby weave texture, but there are definitely tiny loops. They're absorbent. I love mine.
