Easy to install and fits like the original lock
Promptly received the replacement lock. Easy to install. My one complaint was that there were no instructions. However, I was able to go online (u-tube) and watch helpful videos.

Good kit worked well
Worked very well. Our old lock was hard to use. Figured out some of the problem is the mechanism in the file cabinet that locks all the drawers adding extra resistance. This kit was Easy to install and had all the parts I needed. Instructions were a single page and detailed enough.

Lost a key to a file cabinet and this solution was excellent!

Junk!!!!
Quit working the 4th time I unlocked it. Spring got wedged into the key tumblers and wouldn’t let me open it by hand once unlocked. Had to get a hammer and beat it apart inside the key hole and made a mess. I would purchase others.

filing cabinet lock kit replaced existing lock that key was lost. functions properly.

One lock damaged, the other will not lock the file cabinet, no instructions.
I bought two locks. One was obviously a return. The keeper pin was damaged, the lock clip was bent, the bezel had the chrome paint scratched off and was broken. I installed the other lock but it will not operate far enough to lock the file cabinet. Also no instructions are included.
