The Pro is made of Reinforced foam core, which is a higher quality, and the original is made of open cell foam. The Pro is a more durable product, it is double stitched, and machine washable. I was wondering same Strutz Pro is professional version, strutz angel is the first version they made, cheaper than the pro and you can try first to try to see if it works. I found this info on the Strutz site. Good luck
