This product does not work as advertised by Amazon's universal adaption or The seller's pictures. It will not work with any taillights that have a brake light and turn signal included together. I've spent the last 5 hours trying to get this to work on a 1996 Mustang. While you cannot hook it up as advertised, I did keep trying to push it further and got it to work and around about way. You are stubborn like me and frugal you're gonna ignore this and buy it anyways. When you get down to brass tax like I did and finally figure out how it works these are the problems that you're going to have. Your 4 ways or hazard lights will work just fine and as advertised, your turn signal or your blinker under the - will detect an irregularity in the current and now act as if you have a faulty bulb Causing it to blink rapidly. 2nd, as you will notice when you take apart your Mustang sting, your 3rd bulb will not have a major and a minor only a minor because it's just meant for running lights. When you eventually find a way to wire it up around that You will notice that now all 3 lights are dimmer even through the sequential Sequence, If you can get it to work on your blinker only not hazard lights. 3rd when you get all that figured out and you finally say I don't mind it's dim, You'll find out that when you press your brakes it will only go through the sequence once and your brakes no longer illuminate. Please save yourself a bunch of time and a headache Do not order this item, save your money and get something of more quality for your car. I will include some pictures later please excuse the mess and the ugly wiring as I got 4 hours in and just wanted to temporarily try everything.

the housing for modules were not sealed or weather resistance and instructions were incomplete in my application..a 96 mustang ,the two otter bulbs were on the same wire so it only had two steps but was easily corrected by cutting the wire separating the two otter bulbs

Ot sure how brakeing will work. Because they will just flash once then stop.. i have to look into more. But for turn signal only they work as expected when using a relay

Only works with Led bulbs with that said, even with LED resistor bulbs and your best effort this thing will strobe

Company needs to add on discription,will not work on 2 filament bulb
