Student Notebook O64P

I've used these scientific notebooks as lab notebooks for all of my college career and into my post-grad work and classes, and they are fantastic for lab work. Great size, the green graph paper makes it easy to read while still having graph squares to use for sketching, and I was so glad to see that I can get them from other places than my college bookstore!

My daughter needed this specific notebook for her science fair project. She must have missed the day when her teacher told the class about it. Last night she went on Amazon to find the notebook and ordered it. She did not know then that she needed it by the end of this week. I emailed the company, Scientific Notebook Company, late last night, when we found out that she needed it by Friday, to ask where I could purchase the item in a physical store or if they could help me to get it here sooner than the 5-7 days promised. I had an email waiting for me this morning offering to ship it overnight with a few extra notebooks thrown in just in case other students needed them. I could not believe how quickly they responded to my email and how amazing they were in finding a solution! I am thankful that there are still companies that care about their customers. I would not hesitate to order from here again. Just as an aside, this was for an order of one notebook with a price tag of under $4.00! Thank you Ben at Scientific Notebook Company! I wish more companies were like yours.

A wonderful way to lay out plan and record a project and it's progress.I am a writer and n artist. I purchased the notebook curious to see if it might prove helpful and it has become a very integral and pleasant part of my work!

I bought this with a little bit of doubt at first since there is no clear inside photo of it. I got it in two days with Amazon Prime, and it turned out to be much better than I thought!The outside is made of thin flexible vinyl-coated paper, as opposed to the think recycled good ol' composition notebook. This may be an advantage since it is easier to flip the pages, but I would personally like the thicker cover better.On the cover, it says "Research Notebook," so if you are picky and mind it saying "Research Notebook" while you are only doing a science lab class, this one is not the one for you. Well, if you are doing a research, you will find it say those words quite politely though.Inside, on every page, there are spaces for the profiles for your inventions, such as inventor, date, and witness sign, but again, you will find it useless if you are using it in a college science lab class.The size of this notebook is bigger than regular notebooks, so it might make you stand out from the crowd, but it also means more writing spaces.In total there are about 30 sheets, which I found a little lacking. The paper feels good and comfortable to write on.Despite those unusual characteristics, I like this notebook. It is well organized and doesn't seem cheap at all. I got compliments from my lab instructor too.If it were a little cheaper I would recommend to anyone.

I love this research notebook. I've already bought a couple of them. I use one every day in lab and my classmates have commented on how they wish their notebooks had the layout of mine. The beginning of the book has a table of contents to fill in and each page has room for experiment title, witness signatures and dates, signature and date of person performing the experiment, and a spot to write the page number the experiment is being continued from. I only write in this using the really inky Pilot G2 pens and the pages are thick enough so that it doesn't bleed through. I just wish this notebook had more pages because 64 pages go faster than you'd think.

The blurb description didn't say anything about the notebook is softcover. It was disappointing. Pages inside are okay. I will keep it, but I don't feel happy about my purchase. :-(

The paper quality is very good, the binding firm and durable, and the size is perfect. Sadly, I think these books are not used enough in the engineering trade anymore, and finding them is getting more rare (and very good ones rarer still!). If you are looking for a good quality logbook that you intend to archive for many years, this is the book.

Just what I needed! I love the title, date and layout. The paper is not thin and does not bleed through when I write with a pen.
