I use these for a rather unusual reason. I screw them into the bottom of my trail running shoes for runs in the snow and ice. They work great and give me better traction than the expensive clip on spikes.

Can literally lay my dirt bike over and drag pegs on the ice. Funnest investment in the cold months when you normally can’t ride. 4 stars bc I noticed I’m missing a few but can’t complain bc they worked great

I use these on a tractor for doing snow removal. I needed more traction on icy surfaces and these are the cheapest and easiest way to accomplish that. They will mark up concrete though so keep that in mind.

These studs are great they work amazing and also look amazing I have two dirtbikes one is a yz250f and the other is a rfz 125 and they both work on them if you want to go ice riding I definitely recommend these!

Not a good choice for small utility tractor. They worked great in my 33hp kubota tractor until they started to come out. Lost half of them on first use

I was looking for some studs to make some "no slip" boots. These screws are great. Although a bit of a nuisance to put together, the 3/8" screws can be driven into the soles of hiking boots, or heavily soled runners to create some dedicated footwear for those super slippery days ... much better than taking a chance of a fall and/or injury while out for a jog or a dog walk. Some enterprising folks have put a few of these together and marketed them as a "kit", but at a much increased price point.

Bought these in place of Simms hard bite studs for wader boots for fishing. Bought the 3/8th size. Only used my boots once so far but they seem to be alright and holding up in the boots fine. Probably will get better grip on algee covered rocks now but will have to wait for later in the season for that.
