Works great. Told my husband got him a valet or butler--he was not impressed. But I like it.

This item the men's valet, is sized for a man under 5 (five) feet tall. And no where in the description of the product does it tell you that. They hang a tie on it and it is 12 to 14 inches off the ground so I assumed it was an average size. When we got the valet put together and I saw how small it was I hung one of my husbands ties on it and it touched the floor. Did not try a pair of pants which is what we planned to hang on it. My husband is an average size man (5'11") not a large man so nothing he wears is going to fit on it. NOW what can I do with this VALET. We have it all put together so spending another hour or so taking it apart and trying to get it back in the box is not possible.I just want to cancel my new membership to PRIME. If this is the quality of the product you are selling I want no part of it. I will just continue to buy books for my kindle. That is all. And I am telling everybody I know how I got deceived.

This was one of the most difficult pieces I have ever assembled. I pride myself in being able to follow instructions and assemble with little to no complications. This took me 3 attempts. I even put it back in the box to return but I took it back out of the box because I didn't want to be defeated by something so small. The instructions are so poor, none of the pieces are marked or labeled to match the instructions. It was not worth the money I spent. I'm giving it 2 stars only because I completed it.

My husband had a cloths valet handed down to him from his dad…finally it broke! Prob. was used for a t/l of 20 years! So, yes, it wasvery hard for me to find a replacement! Well, I give this a 110% satisfaction guarantee!I love it but my husband loves it more! So easy to put together, great price, solid wood,its just totally perfect! And more so…you don't need to hide it in your closet! Its anattractive piece of furniture! I LOVE IT!!! Worth every cent! GREAT BUY!!!

The instructions are poor and the wooden parts a have a bad odor, maybe creosote.

I wasn't convinced that for this price i'd be getting a solid wood piece... but it sure seems like it is, and i believe it's a high quality wood, to boot!I'd definitely recommend this piece, especially since most valets don't fold, so if you're not in love with the idea of it constantly taking up floor space or being an eyesore, you can fold it up and stow in it in your closet.really nice, deep, dark finish. matches my dark cherry furniture excellently.

Very nice piece... and m not sure why the wood has that smell. After a few months it’s almost gone. Burn incense 😂
