Reading Gertrude Stein at whatever age is pure delight. The rhythm of the language and the juxtaosition of your expectation of meaning and what is said adds up to glee. Read it aloud, then read it again. The worst day is made wondrous.

Mostly written for adults.Not what most would call "an Alphabet book".Quite complex but VERY Gertrude Stein.

great illustrations for this enchanting book, highly recommended even if you have reservations about reading Gertrude Stein you will enjoy this little book
