Fun to play

I love this game fun entertaining and I play this with friends and fam. I also enjoyed painting the minitures that came with this,will be buying the expansions.

Joined the KS and received the full bundle. Played with family and we had fun. Bought as a Christmas Present this year.

Another great game in the CMON universe of zombies

Great game, the miniatures look awesome. Will go great with the rest of the marvel zombies game when ever I get it from the cmon kickstarter (6 months and waiting). It makes all the living heroes playable and the zombie heroes the enemy. Adds a good amount of plug and play. Really fast shipping.

Easy to understand, loads of replayability and great minis. This game lets you play as living heroes vs zombies. Buy the core set or Heroes resistance if you want to play as zombie heroes vs living heroes.

I am reviewing the kickstarter version with the plastic miniature figures. The game is much more expensive than the retail version that has cardboard standees.In Heroes Resistance, you will play as super heroes battling the ravenous zombie heroes. The box includes: super heroes wolverine, mystique, magneto, storm, colossus, and rogue. It also includes zombie heroes juggernaut, psylocke, dark Phoenix, cyclops, sabretooth, and iceman. Iceman looks so cool. It is a light blue transparent figure which looks as though the character is made from water. The box also contains 12 bystanders and 63 assorted zombies. There are double sided map tiles to aid in building your battle terrain. There are 5 zombie mode missions where you will play the zombie heroes and 10hero mode missions where you will 0lay the super heroes. As in 5he core game, there will be doors to open, key cards to find, enemies to spawn and defeat and a game winning objective to fulfill. Buying the core box and this box will give you more content than you can shake a stick at, with hundreds of hours of play time. So much variety to choose from and different ways to make the game harder or easier.I have only played solo, so I cannot speak to the game in a multi-player format, but it is exceptional as a solo game, controlling as many or as few characters as you wish. I will say the game is much harder with fewer characters so I always play with 4 characters and I still get my hero butt handed to me. I have never had so much fun losing!!As you can imagine, I highly recommend this game.

I bought this to compliment my marvel zombies core box. That game allows you to play as zombies taking on living enemies.This box lets you play as heroes taking on the zombie hordes. Both boxes are stand alone but can be mixed and matched adding tons of variability.Zombicide has been around a long time it's a neat system and the marvel team really helps it in my eyes.It is quite expensive, especially if you get both and if I had to choose I'd take base marvel zombies as the zombie mode is more unique than hero mode. They're both really good it's just a matter of taste.

Not delved too much into playing the board game as I'm currently painting the models. The models within the game are plentiful and are really well made. The Marvel Characters (heroes and Zombies) are excellent representations of their comic book counter parts. Minor criticism is I would have included professor X as its an x-men set, but hay you get a very good magneto model instead.
