Like all Rubio mono coat coatings, it applies easily, tries fast and produces an aged look on cherry at least.

Great Product
I really like the way this finish turned out on this hutch I made. I used the intense black precolor with the Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in Black. Very easy to use and apply. It was warm and humid at the time of application (92 degrees F with humidity around 96%) With the high humidity, I was surprised at how quickly I had to come back and wipe off the precolor and the Oil Plus 2C. Instructions state "Start wiping excess oil away around 15 minutes from applying it..." I thought for sure the humidity would prolong the drying. I had to start that process in about 5 minutes. Of course, each situation will be different.I will use Rubio Monocoat again!!

Top tier product
I’ve used this brand on several projects after watching YouTube videos and honestly it’s the best product in the market in my opinion, as I do quite a bit of woodworking, and this provides an incredible richness of color, a an outstanding seal on the wood and in my opinion again it’s just an outstanding product and the cleanup is terrific and there is zero harsh chemical smell

Whoa! Intense, man.
When you wipe this stuff on, intense is the right word to use. I’ve said for a long time black is my favorite color until they come out with something darker. Rubio did just that!I was quite surprised how much of the color rubs out while applying the 2C top coat with applicator. I would suggest doing samples to dial in your final process. I didn’t use the applicator on my samples, just a finishing rag, and it came out how I wanted with the 2C. I used the applicator on the final project and it took most of the black away and I lost the contrast I was going for …. but still rocked it with the Midnight Indigo 2C.

Easy is right.
Product is easy to apply, easy to clean, easy all around. Today was the color. Tomorrow will be the oil 2C to create the derided effect for this table top. Can’t wait. Love Rubio products.
