Works Great
This controller worked great on a 1978 70HP Evinrude . Note had to cut old wire & add proper connector to plug into controller. (sell on Amazon)

This does not fit envirude motor bought it and it will not work with my envirude xp150 outboard

ignition switch doesnt work properly, when key is on, you can bump the key and it turns off, the key switch isnt any good, had to replace switch, other than that, it works great

Terrible quality.
Complete lack of quality. Several screws miss threaded out of box. Throttle pin looks like it was hit with hammer so the cotter pins don’t fit. So many issues. Have to order another one, hoping maybe the next one will simply work.. I’m not holding my breath

Wrong throttle for Johnson outboards. It’s pull throttle
It will not hookup with throttle cable it’s backwards. It’s pull not push throttle and boat wide open
