A fascinating sting read!
For skeptics who have always laughed at the idea of UFOs and the extra terrestrial, (me),this is a must read. You will be absolutely shocked at what you will learn in this book...what your government knew and did. I have great respect for this author and am very grateful this book was recommended to me. Once you read this account, you will be able to understand exactly where we are headed. Knowledge is power.

GREAT Book In A Field Where It Is Hard To Get Good Information
GREAT book, though written in very long (yet fluent) sentences.Col. Corso is often cited as one of the most credible sources of the UFO topic - even 70+ years after the Roswell crashe-s; there were 2 saucers that crashed.Col. Corso was I highly placed military man who was head of the military “Foreign Technology” Bureau, so he had direct access to much material recovered from the Roswell crashes. When he received remnants of the alien Roswell crashes: he then seeded them to appropriate companies already working on the same general direction of high-tech development. And these companies were rewarded with the understanding that they would be permitted patent whatever they would be able to figure-out/reverse-engineer.The following new technologies were developed from the Roswell alien saucer remnants:1) transistors,2) fiber optics,3) lasers (from hand held lasers found in the craft),4) night-vision tech, and5) high tensile materials which made the outer surface of the saucers to be incredibly hard. From the study of this, we developed Kevlar.Thoroughly AMAZING.Something else amazing: Col. Corso states that the true purpose of Reagan's "Star Wars"/Strategic Defense Initiate (SDI) was to serve as a defense against extra-terrestrials.But some CONCERNS:1) Corso reported that the ET crafts were brought down by an especially powerful lightning storm, but multiple independent resources indicate that the weather was clear on that day. So do powerful lightning storms come and go quickly during a given day in Roswell, New Mexico? Maybe so, but it seems like a possible discrepancy.2) Also, some independent sources indicate that the The ET crafts were brought down by one of our new-at-the-time, light-beam (i.e. particle beam) type of weapon, which, according to Corso, was developed only after the Roswell crashes.Given the multiple simultaneous crashes, this suggests that they were brought down by a weapon or by an improved, powerful radar which could disrupt the ufo's electronics..3) In the very end portions of the book, he states some of his stark conclusions without providing supportive details for those conclusions. He may be (and likely is) correct in those conclusions, but supporting details are needed.Nevertheless, I believe this book to be overall a very fine book.

The military self-centeredness, fear, and perspective is alarming
The Day After Roswell is written by an insider, which is at least far more reliable than most sources about aliens and UFOs. However, what I find alarming is the military's perspective, which always arises out of fear, money, power, and control. So we have been visited by nonhuman entities and their craft for decades and perhaps even thousands of years. They have had technology that we could not have imagined and they have not destroyed the military and razed human civilization to dust. And thus far all accounts and those who have experienced them have been defamed by the government, military, and some organization that is in secrecy. Meanwhile our tax dollars are funding the disinformation and being used against us.Sadly and unfortunately, the military's stance is always geared toward planning for violent interaction instead of extending a hand in peace and progress. When Trump heard of the New Jersey drones and other sightings across the world, his first inclination was to declare that we should shoot them down. This is the kind of backward and regressive thinking that has caused our civilization and ecosystem to decay and drive humanity to the brink of destruction. We have to evolve out of this base mentality for our world, nature, and humanity to survive. We need leaders with intelligence and insight and not the kinds of minds we find in Corso's book who act like this is the wild west where shooting first and thinking second is the knee jerk reaction.Corso has laid out the military's position and propensity for coverup, self-interest, and incompetence. It's amazing the modern world has made it as far as we have with minds like these. Hopefully more intelligent and compassionate thinking will emerge in time to save this planet and all its inhabitants. It seems the aliens are not pleased with our propensity for violence and nuclear armament and if we do not change our ways they are bound to intervene. As Danny Sheehan said, our doomsday clock is now less than a minute before midnight.

It is true and soon the world will know.
On the subject of UFOs aka UAP and our governments actual activities vs. the coverups this book is perhaps the best. Colonel Corso violated his security clearance to let the public know before his end.The other two books I would advise that dovetail with this book are Imminent by Luis Elizondo and Dreamland by Bob Lazar.
