Solid, fits my machine (V15 Detect). Good replacement for the original canister/dust bin as the seal will almost certainly wear down over time and the original canisters aren’t built to last years with every day use. This is a suitable replacement and shipped quickly. Seals properly, have used it for over a month now with no issues. Good value for the money and product is exactly as advertised.

Canister: This canister worked great to fix my vacuum. It is made well and fits correctly. I would easily recommend it as a replacement part. When I looked on the Dyson website the genuine part was not available. I ended up upgrading to the Dyson animal version and am glad I did. For Dyson there are the upright vacuums and the cordless versions. We have hardwood floors with some area rugs and the portable is all that is needed most of the time. The upright is usually reserved for deep cleaning and the portable for most tasks like floors, rugs, dusting, crevices, cobwebs and such. I received an Animal V11 from my mom as a gift. Having a dry set means you can always use your vacuum in case of a spill. https://amzn.to/3S1rTs6 For any Dyson vacuum be sure to empty the canister before it reaches the “max” line on the canister or the filters will clog much faster with fine dust and you will lose suction. Not only that but is is way harder to empty when full or over full. Try to not go past the half way full point for the best results. I have a number of Dyson vacuums dating back the yellow DC35 which is still going strong today.

A comparable item to the factory bin for my Dyson. I broke my original one - after searching and comparing, I decided on this one. Happy that it fit and was all the way comparable to the original one. The only thing you need to worry about is : Make sure that you order the right size. Other than that, this is a great replacement.

If you need a replacement dust bin this one for your Dyson v15s detect submarine (and probably others but that’s the one I replaced for) this works perfectly. Super easy to switch out. The rubber seal came off and it was slightly more money to just replace the whole bin, but the rubber seal shouldn’t come loose again as it’s screwed in to this bin and not just clicked in like if you just replaced the seal. So I’d go for replacing the whole bin to avoid future seal issues. I definitely recommend

Wow this fit perfect! original had the gasket at the top break. This fit perfect with new design of attaching the red ring gasket. Vacuum really works great now. Definitely recommend!

Our V11 Dust Bin had the plastic separate to where the rubber came out. After trying to reassemble it, the plastic broke making me realize why I'll never buy another Dyson. Regardless, this replacement part works just fine allowing this expensive vacuum to keep working for another good amount of time. Thank you guys for creating a replacement part for a cheaper price!!!

This is amazing I was hesitant to purchase something that was original. Forgive the picture below but as you can see the dirt captures the same way nothing is escaping and will most likely by a backup spare
