Political World Map on Cork Pinboard 24” x 36”

I know that this review comes quite late but we purchased it as a gift for our daughters birthday. She had mentioned it some time ago as wanting one of these maps but wasn't specific until we had already placed the order. Turns out this is not the one that she was interested in but I now fear that it is too late to return.

It looks nice, but the frame is very poorly made. I have had two of these pinboards -- the original one and then the replacement. The first one I hung with picture wire (not included). Within 1 week, the entire board had warped to the point where it was 2-3 inches off the wall in the corners. I then ordered a replacement through Amazon. The second time I figured I would hang it using velcro. Well, apparently nothing stops this thing from warping, because after 3 weeks the top rail of the frame looked like a bow for a bow and arrow. I am in the process of returning this.

Would be better if cork was thicker and had a backing. Map isn't bad tho!

Waste of money. Thin, flimsy and warped. The cheap frame didn't stay together. An all around WAY over-priced very low quality product. I'm returning this. To replace it, I purchased a peel and stick map to apply to a wooden framed bulletin board. Arriving today so I haven't tested it yet. The only good thing I can say is that I'm glad Amazon makes it so easy to return when I occasionally land on poor products like this one.

This product was very disappointing. It arrived on time and looked OK (the frame was a little cheaper looking than I had expected). We were very excited to get this hung. We hung it using the included hardware. The next morning we walked into our office and the board had bowed in the middle, pulling the map right out of the frame. The map itself began to start peeling. Very disappointing for such a costly map....

Nice map. I think it's cardboard and not cork board but it works great with our travel pins and is up to date (has South Sudan).

Felt like it wasn't really worth the money I paid for it. Frame seemed cheap.
