Rope has thin sections!
I noticed my 9mm rope had some areas where one could feel thinning under the sleeve of the rope. So, don't use this for any critical application unless you carefully check the length you intend to use beforehand. This rope also stretches (and therefore thins) considerably, which may be another factor for your application.
