Gotta say I was really impressed with the quality of this helmet. Bought it after reading previous reviews. It’s well solid and has strong padding inside. I came off my bike this week whilst commuting home from work after my pedal snapped on my bike which led to me being thrown off. The first thing that come into contact with the road surface was my head, which had it not been for the hardnutz helmet I was wearing, could of caused a serious injury. The impact was so hard I now have whiplash, a fractured arm and a couple of cracked ribs but thankfully no head injury thanks to this product. My head bounced off the floor and all I could feel was how the padding responded to the impact which was not felt at all on my actual head. The helmet did not split but I have purchased another one under normal recommended safety guidelines just incase it has weakened it in any way but it doesn’t look damaged apart from the big scuff mark on it. I would recommend this helmet to anyone as it has definitely prevented some serious damage being done to myself. Thanks a lot hardnutz👍👍👍

When my wife told me that this was the cycling helmet she wanted I smiled assuming it was a child's helmet so would never fit her, then on checking the size I realised it would. My wife's measurement is 53cm and this helmet states 54cm - 58cm but my wife has long curly hair so on the smallest adjustment I figured it would be fine.I repeatedly asked her if she was sure that this was the one she wanted, her look told me to just go ahead and order it. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and it looked much better close up than it does in the pictures. With a small adjustment on the strap it virtually fitted her straight out of the box.The helmet comes with the usual Velcro attached sponges that you find on helmets of this price range and a spare set of sponge which was slightly thicker. The Velcro fasteners are rather small and not great but they seem to do the job.The chin strap is also bound with a padded Velcro protector for added comfort and adjusting the fit is simple with a dial which you turn one way or the other at the rear of the helmet.If you cycle for pleasure and you want something that is not going to make you look like you are preparing for the tour de france then this could be an option. I asked my wife why specifically this one, she pointed out that she is a vegetarian who likes animals, I'm not suggesting that is a reason to purchase this helmet, just sharing what I am up against.In all seriousness though, I think it looks fine on.

Initially my feedback was "Solid. I feel padded and protected. Fits to size. Chose black but the assortment of colors is great. At the price point I might go green too. Additional padded inserts also supplied".Revised after several weeks to : Ooh - don't often come back for re-reviews. Looks like the padding doesn't like sweat and the glue is coming away. Also the size adjust broke. Good old gaffer tape to the rescue. I'll have to buy a proper cycle helmet soon.

I've got a big head so it still sort of sits on the top of my head and i look like a mountaineer, But its comfortable and i didn't sweat too much in scorching English summer.Its got little pads Inside that can be taken out and washed. And the strap doesn't rub on my chin...witch are niceCurrently waring it in winter in London, cycling to work and back every day, could be walmer and I've no room for a hat on under it, small gripes really.Worth a buy

No sharp angles or edges, with a lovely comfortable fit, and very nice fittings... I mean the sponge buffers inside the dome, and the side mountings and strap are all very nice, and I love the way that the chin strap adjustment has a soft protective guard covering the strap tightener... perfect for not tugging stubble/beard. A very nice helmet, and now that I come to write this review... actually good value.

Lovely looking bit of kit. I don’t fancy the more modern looking cycle helmet, so this normal looking item is perfect. No stupid shiny colour ms, no silly flash bits. Just plain and simple head protection.

Very sturdy bike helmet. Quick to arrive. Ordered a small for our 4yr old and it pretty much fits perfectly. Extra padding is provided to ensure a better fit. My son has had the same helmet in purple for over a year and he loves it, still plenty growing room because of the various sizes of padding provided.

A bit on the heavy side especially for small children. The markings started to peel off the day I opened it but it's actually all the better because the helmet looks better without those stickers. The bright color is good for visibility.
