Yogurt to heal the gut
Love this yogurt maker, nice to be able to adjust the temperature. Glass jars are a perfect serving size.

It is compact and make a delicious yogurt plus the size of the cups are perfect. I just pick up one and go to work.

It works
It is very difficult to find whole-milk yogurt in American grocery stores, so I make my own.So far, I've used this machine once.As with most devices from China, the instructions are poorly written, but it wasn't really difficult to figure out setting the temperature and time. I put a thermometer inside to test the temperature setting. Although I had it set at 107 (the default), it never got above 100. That's an acceptable temperature for yogurt making, but next time I'll try turning it up a bit.After 8 hours, I had 9 little cups of delicious yogurt.Be aware that homemade yogurt probably will not be as thick as the store-bought kind, unless you add gelatin or other thickeners, like they do. I'm not unhappy with slightly runny yogurt. I add a little honey or fruit for sweetness.

Temp control doesn't work
Set at 100f, an entire batch of low temp yogurt was ruined by elements heating to 121f+! I pitched it after realizing it was overheated, lowered the machine temp to 91 and hours later here's the reading in the photo. Still hot enough to kill my L Reuteri bacterium.I am asking for a replacement because I don't want a darned gift card. Disgusted😑

I would never guess it's so easy to make yogurt
I'm Furious!I love yogurt and I cannot believe how much money I wasted all those years buying Chobani.If you never tried home-made yogurt, you should. No chemical additives, no preservers, no artificial flavors. You pick the best ingredients, you can be 100% sure about what is in your yogurt. The flavors are amazingly better.And you may think it's labor intensive, or a hassle, or tons of utensils and parts to wash. NO!it's ridiculously easy to use, the instructions are easy to understand and the control panel is very straightforward. The machine itself is very well designed, good looking and sturdy. I'm using it non-stop since it arrived.My unit arrived just in time. I grow strawberries at home and I was lucky enough to have it delivered on the same day I harvested almost 5 lbs of home grown, organic strawberries. The hardest part was washing and pulling the stems. And you all now how easy it is to clean strawberries. After that, prep time was under 5 minutes. A few hours later, I tasted the very best strawberry Greek yogurt I had in my life.This machine is worth its weight in gold! I strongly recommend it.

Temperature control
I set the temperature for 100 degrees F but it went up to 130 degrees (verified by an external thermometer) before it came back down. It took 3 hours to stabilize at 100 degrees and then stayed there. Temperatures much above 100 degrees kills the starter bacterial culture, L Reuteri.
